I would love thoughts on this please..

My husband texted me this.

How I believe things should go. A problem is brought up. You tell me your concerns, I consider your concerns, then I tell you my concerns and make a decision from there and whatever decision I make or instructions I give you roll with it not only because as the leader I have the final say but because you trust me and my leadership. It shouldn't be an argument because you don't agree with the leader's decision.

If you tell me you want McDonald's and I tell you no it's unhealthy. I shouldn't have to defend my decision. I feel you should simply reply Ok. The reality is you understand I am going to make sure you eat.

I seriously need to know if this is supposed to be normal to anyone? I am a SAHM. 4 kids and currently pregnant. I'm wondering if he wasn't the breadwinner & I worked and provided too, would he still feel like this macho man I should "obey?" I'm just literally speechless and don't know how to respond to this. Yes he takes care of everything but this is not what I signed up for.

I don’t like the way he told you, but going off the mcds and your comment about 4 kids and pregnant. Maybe he’s concerned for the baby? And possibly cause then the kids would want it too.
My husband told me in a better way that I needed to eat better when I was pregnant with my twins. I was eating raw cookie dough like it was popcorn.

He believes everything should go his way & I should never have any push back, I should just do whatever he says.
