1st period after birth.
I had my baby 8 weeks ago and I’m exclusively pumping as my little girl is only on breast milk.
I got my period, did anyone else’s period start up again quickly while exclusively breastfeeding or expressing?

Periods return quicker if exclusively pumping than it would if directly breastfeeding because pumping does not trigger the same hormone response. A nursing baby will trigger higher amounts of oxytocin and prolactin than pumping and they ate the hormones that suppress ovulation
I got my period at 5 weeks pp and I was EBF. I was told I was unlucky. I’m sorry you got yours!
