Posterior placenta

I’ve recently been told that in this pregnancy (my second), I have a posterior placenta that’s currently covering my cervix. If it doesn’t move by my 32-week scan in a few weeks, I’ll need to have a planned C-section.

To be honest, I’m feeling quite anxious about it. I had a natural birth with my first, so a C-section was never really something I imagined for myself. Has anyone been through something similar? I’d love to hear your experiences and hopefully get a bit of reassurance to put my mind at ease💛

Hey I had an anterior placenta that covered my cervix mine actually didn’t end up moving and I ended up with placenta previa🥲 but you’ll have a scan at 32 weeks then possibly another near 36 weeks they will give as much time as possible for it to move. It’s really rare that they don’t move! I ended up having two hospital stays and bleeds due to my placenta which was scary that the time but it is also extremely common when they fully cover the cervix I had an emergency c section due to my last bleed and honestly it wasn’t a bad experience at all and the recovery wasn’t as bad as I expected it would be ☺️it can be worrying and social media and Google can make it seem a lot more daunting most c sections with placentas covering the cervix will be around 37/38weeks x

Is it fair to assume a doctor will go over every single little thing that *could* happen in and after pregnancy? Did your doc/nurse/midwife do that?

Saw a tt where this girl was saying doctors should warn about something that happened to her. Someone commented that, while yes if theres any reason for concern then a doctor should talk to you about it. But they aren't going to sit there and lost off every little thing that could potentially happen even if you have a 100% healthy pregnancy. Which I think it fair, but people in the comments aren't happy. And some people were saying that their midwife did that and I'm like, i don't understand how or why? If they're genuinely going over every little thing that could happen, it's a long list. Plus i feel like that causes a lot of unnecessary anxiety for a lot of people. Ive also never had a doctor do that. Again, obviously if there's any small reason to suspect something then they should but outside of that i just don't see that happening. It's like when you go in for a surgery, yes they say there are risks but they don't list out every thing that could happen.

I’ve had enough

Girls, I’ve had enooooughhhh of being pregnant 😂

Due in 10 days so I could still go 2+ weeks. I also have a 1 year old so I feel like I’ve been pregnant for 3 years.

I know there’s literally nothing I can do but I’m just feeling really sorry for myself today 😂

23-24 weeks pregnant

Did anyone else experience a tough time all of a sudden around this time? I’m feeling quite similar to the first trimester all of a sudden!

Nausea in second trimester

I am so sad lol I’m 16 weeks and the ick is back. Nausea and wanting food but then taking a few bites getting the ick and feeling nauseous.
Lately it’s been meat but even my fave Olive Garden I could only eat 1/4 of and I was over it.
I need to eat more or I’m nauseous too but it’s so hard. Nothing sounds good. I half ass survive on uncrustables to get some protein. Water. Sprite. And sometimes tater tots lol

Evap?

I am really struggling with line eyes! I’ve done 5 easy at home tests today because everyone had a white evap looking line and a clear line if I shine a torch behind them. Then I took two Tesco tests and both I couldn’t tell if they had a line but noticed after looking back at them they both seem to have a line (pictured). I don’t know if they appeared in the time frame or have colour to them. I’m really impatient to wait 48 hours to test again 🤣
