I had my first baby in September 2025, I wanted to wait till she was 2 to try again, BUT me and my husband really want to try for another ASAP since she’s about to turn 1. I was dead set till waiting to try after the 18 month clearance, but since baby 2 just has to be born after that I’m overall fine with the idea… overall cause i said i didn’t want to have 2 under 2 but that’s a personal work through.

Real question, and please be brutally honest with me. How was your pregnancy after your c section if you have kids really close in age? I think that’s the biggest thing freaking me out cause I want a VBAC.

I’m trying at the 11/12 month mark. I got a 1 year clearance from my OB (I had my baby via C-section back in November). I’ll likely do another c-section though.

I had 13 months before I was pregnant again, had no issues with my scar or anything relating to my previous section. I did have another c section though but that was personal choice as I didn’t wanna be induced x

I got pregnant 10 months pp so my kids were 19 months apart. My pregnancy was totally fine. The c section didn’t affect it at all I had other pain related things but that was just my body. But I had a vbac with my second and it was great. I’m pregnant with my 3rd and the second and third will be 3 years apart and this pregnancy isnt much different then my second

Had 2 c sections. My kids are 15months apart. Had no issues.

I’m trying for my second after c section and a 9 month old

i have 2 under two both via emergency c section and i’m now pregnant again😩 and i’d have to have another c section but honestly i think in a few years i’ll try for vbac i’m way too scared this time. but pain wise and overall health wise around the c section it’s been pretty good i haven’t had any wire pains or issues

Idk the gender 🩵🩷

Had my last scan at 20 weeks and not required anymore. However they couldn’t clarify the gender of the baby. Now I feel I need to pay for a private scan to find out gender or is there any way around this? Private scans are so expensive.

Anyone else

Anyone else had soft scoop ice cream (ice cream van) completely forgot you can eat till after I ate it. I’m early pregnant atm.

is everybody’s midwife’s appointments the same?

for me it’s always just been one to one discussing symptoms, mental & physical heath updates and talking about the little things ect.
I never know anything to do with my actual baby until I have scans at the hospital but I see other people say their midwife tells them more in depth details about their baby or even some cervical checks to see progress.
