I have my 4wk check up at my obgy. But im nervous

Has anyone had their checkup can i get some comfort reassurance of what to expect? July 20th i gave birth vaginal no epidural. I was informed of some tearing or ripping but didnt know much as they numbed me and or gave me meds. to knock me out but recently i was checking with a mirror just making sure im ok no more bleeding but have seen few thred. Have notice stiching lower as its towards my bum, not all the way but noticeable. i was informed i had few deep rips or tears and stitched. Idk im just nervous mentally i dont wanna be touched or exam but i want to know for sure my bodu healing they way it should be and what questions can i ask tomorrow like for example when could i be able to drive or become active with partner. I know i have a 8week appointment in September idk maybe ill feel more like my self myself and not scared

they wont touch you how they did during your pregnancy (assuming they checked your cervix and to see id you were effaced) they actually shouldnt touch you really at all, when you do your check up they mainly just look down there & ask questions. it sound like you may have had 3rd degree tears but if you feel fine on a day to day, & have had your first post pregnancy poop successfully😂 they you are fine! I had 3rd degree almost 4th degree tears (4th being the worst) my first time & i healed beautifully with no complications. Just drink lots of water, rest, take care of yourself, eat good, love you baby, and post natal vitamins may help too!

also ask all the questions you want those arent silly or weird at all, i definitely asked when i could be intimate again they told me i was good to go, my appointment was at my 6wks tho not 4. dont over think it, your body was made for this and knows how to recover on its own!!

Second baby…

I’m 38 weeks today with my second baby and I’m really struggling now, I still have a week to go before I go on maternity leave 😅
Did anyone go into labour around this time or does it mostly happen at 40+ weeks? I don’t know how much longer I can deal with the pressure and pain!
I also feel like I can’t be the mummy I want to be at the moment as all I can do is sit/lay down all the time which isn’t fun for a 3 year old 🥲

Feel like I’m going insane

So I’m 5 weeks 2 days pregnant after trying for 2 years. It’s my first time ever getting positive pregnancy tests so I’m insanely excited and hopeful! Using clear blue digital I hopped up from 1-2 weeks to 2-3weeks last week, but still waiting for my 3+ 🤞🏼

Anyone else on their first pregnancy and super anxious? I still don’t believe it yet 😂 I feel like all I see on Tik Tok & social media is people with negative experiences, eg. miscarrying, and I’ve just got in the back of my head that this could be me (I have no reason/symptoms telling me I am/will!) - even though the statistics are relatively low!

I’ve dove into suchhhhh deep holes and learnt lots about things I didn’t know about, like missed miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies etc! I have ADHD, so once I’m hooked, I’m hooked and my brain runs!

I’ve got a scan booked at the end of next week to give me some reassurance I am actually pregnant, and hoping this will help ease the anxiety.

Anyone else in the same boat and can help me feel like I’m not a mad woman? 😂

First time mom jitters

Hi ladies this is my first ever pregnancy I’ve had plenty of scares in the past. We are very cautiously optimistic as we have been praying for this little nugget for 10 months. I’m a first time mom he isn’t a first time dad so he kind of knows what to expect. But we are both nervous but he is more than I am. Anyone else’s partner really nervous?
