My husband called me a Bitch

For the first time ever. We have been together for almost 3 and a half years.
We have a lot going on, such as baby number two due in November, trying to sell our house and negotiate with the owners of the house we are buying.
With that the conversation started off pretty normal- talking about installing a doggy door and how I thought getting this specific automatic one installed into our wall is better than buying the door that has one already installed (it’s more expensive and not automatic) he disagreed and said he’ll pay the extra money if it means not putting a hole in the wall. fair but I want/need the automatic with new born otw, ( I didn’t say this exactly) I said but the automatic will make it easier for me. He gave no other option and just started saying like. It doesn’t even matter what I say we just always do what you want cause you’re a bitch.
The moment of silence we had before I looked and said what did you just say? He ended up trying to back up what he said but I told him to “shut the fuck up and the conversation was over” (I under stand I did come back “strong” but tbf I do not even give a fuck)

Now I’m in our bed room laying with our toddler while he naps trying to figure out where to go from here.

My husband and I have been together 6 years married for 4. In the beginning he would get mad and throw things, I stood my ground and stayed calm and made it very clear I will jot be with someone who does that. Its okay to be mad or angry but not throw things. Told him to just tell me,"we can talk about this later" then both parties cool off and discuss it later whether its later that day or the next day. This has worked very well for us. Hes changed a lot. Me staying calm and standing my ground and making it very clear I will not tolerate disrespect. You need to do the same. Once the two of you have calmed down you need to make it clear to him that you will not put up with him calling you a bitch even if he was angry in the moment there's no excuse. If you let it go it will only get worse. He'll probably respond with something like then go find someone else. That's when you explain you don't want anyone else. You chose him because you love him and want to make things work but won't tolerate the disrespect.

So the same thing happened to me in the beginning but I stayed firm in the fact that I just needed some space to cool down. I promised him we would talk about it and told him I wanted my best self present for that conversation and now is not the time. I also told him I needed to cool down so I didn't accidentally say something i didn't mean because I was emotional. This one took some time but being consistent and firm will get you there. Now I start getting worked up, I tell him I love you but we need to have this conversation later and he immediately drops it. Says okay. I love you too and kisses me on the forehead.

Girls would you be annoyed if your partner was like this.

Ok so I need advice. I have been with my boyfriend 8 months. And we have been out for dinner like 2 times. Never been for lunch. He always says how tight for money he is. It’s ALWAYS me making plans. I even messaged him the other day saying can we have a date night on Friday night and even stated it can be anything just some quality time together etc. and he said oh don’t think I could this weekend it’s my sons birthday and I’m taking him away for the day. Which is completely fine but I’m off work on Saturday why can’t I also go? Or at least be Invited. He went to a concert 2 weeks ago and told me he spent 100 pound yet if I was to suggest going to a concert he would say no. I also want to go on holiday or atleast go to a city break at the end of September as I am off work for 8 days and my daughter who is 6 is going on holiday for a week with her dad. So I am literally free and will really miss my daughter but he says he doesn’t think he will be able to afford it. Yet this man works 5 days a week 7am-5pm above the minimum wage he could definitly save. Or I even suggested paying for most of it because it’s his birthday soon. Should I talk to him face to face and ask why he never plans anything with me?

Child care cost UK

4 days a week, 1 child is around £1500.

With 30 hours government assistance for working parents. We pay £850.

I couldn't figure out why for the past year I have felt broke all the time.

It just hit me today, it's these darn nursery fees.

If you work a 9 to 5 and send your kid to nursery in the UK are your feed similar or am I over paying?

It's crazy to think you go to work, to pay for someone to look after your child.

Would you leave your children aged 5&3 with your mil and go abroad on a holiday for 4 nights?

5 year old had sleepovers previously but 3 year old never did.

I asked my husband to ask his mum first, to see her opinion but he is asking me I should make my mind up first, which is right?

Really worried and disheartened about food

My baby is almost 8 months old, and we have been giving her solids since 5 months.

Started with purées, and in the last month or so started with finger foods.

She is having two meals a day on top of her usual bottles, and we are trying with a mix of sachets and finger foods. For example we’ll give her something spread on toast, with a bit of banana and Greek yoghurt, or broccoli, egg and half a pouch.

She only seems to be interested in picking up food herself, but can’t do it with spoons yet, and it ends up that she has hardly anything of any meal we give her. When I say hardly anything I mean a few tiny bites if that, she just plays with it and waves it about usually before dropping it on the floor. The most she’s had on a spoon is half of a bit of Greek yoghurt.

I’ve tried different plates, spoons, giving her stuff from our plates to make her think it’s our meal, we give her loads of different stuff to try, but all of it isn’t working and I’m really concerned that she’s just never going to eat.

I’m at the point of crying at every meal time when she doesn’t even want any of it. She doesn’t even have good and bad days, it’s all just bad days where she doesn’t seem interested unless it’s licking the topping off toast, or having a few bites of a melty stick.

Is anyone else going through the same, and does anyone have any tips as I’m at my wits end of making food just for all of it to be thrown away- we don’t have my income anymore on maternity, so food shopping is tight as it is.

This, and I read that her iron drops so food is important at this stage, and I’m worried she’s not getting what she needs.

I swear Imma lose some brain cells

So I just left my 36 week appointment and I updated my sons father. After I told him how the appointment went, he gone say we need to talk.
I told him I can’t do it next week because I have college classes next week and work so I’ll be busy. He proceeded to ask me how I’m going to do this when I’m about to have our son.
I told him just because I’m having our son doesn’t mean I’m not going to stop going to school. He then proceeded to say how’s he going to have our son but how am I going to manage all this.
I said that it’s not going to be just him watching him and it’s going to be my mom or one of my sisters too and he then said no it’s going to be just him so I doubled down and said no it’s going to be my mom or my sisters as well. I’m guessing I pissed him off because he looked at it and didn’t respond
