I fear I may have to transition my baby to his own room soon. He’s 5 months old and according to google he should transition from 4-6 months or when he gains movement skills. He knows how to roll and that is one skill that is mentioned for his safety, as he could accordingly roll out the Moses. I say I “fear” this but it’s more that I don’t want it to end. I’m massively grieving over his growth and milestones, time is flying way too quickly and I fear I’ve missed everyone moment of his newborn stage and now he’s almost crawling. I roll over and immediately see his cute little face. How do I accept this and do I actually need to transition him soon?

You can absolutely transition him at your own pace!! Find that balance between him being ready & you being ready! I waited until 7 months with my baby girl because thats when I finally felt it was time but don't let google rush you because of "should do's"
Obviously, you don't want to hold him back or create bad habits where he is too attached to you, so one random night you'll feel ready & take the plunge while you do! Its a heavy weight on your heart for the first few nights but then you're bursting with pride after that! Stay strong and go at YOUR pace! Everyone is different, no comparisons. You got this. X

I have left the next to me there and put the baby monitor right in the middle of it and turned the volume up very loud, so I can still roll and see his little face, not the same but it definitely helps 😊
