Huge ass baby

So I had a growth scan today at 37+1 and she is already estimated at 8lbs 7oz. Like I know it's normal women push babies out all the time but I'm actually terrified of pushing a large baby out. They said I could be induced at 39 weeks but I don't know what to do.

Their measurements are sooo off. Mine was 9lbs4oz which yes is big but we were each 8lb10oz and 8lb11oz and both 6ft/6ft2, but they made out as if she would be 12lb! I was induced but if I were to go back I would try and push it for another week. Big baby alone is not reason enough to be induced (unless its what you want!!)

Take the measurements with a pinch of salt as they can be seriously off! I would say as well, every mum I've spoken to who's had multiple babies of varying sizes, birth is difficult no matter the size and your body will adjust and manage as best it can. You've got this!

I was told the exact same with my first baby. Induction started at 38 weeks and baby simply wasn’t ready to come out so they tried to force him out with a load of hormone drugs which didn’t work and 3 days later resulted in a traumatic c section so I would really try to avoid the induction, it’s not natural imo xx

Reduced movements!

Hi girls - I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and feeling a bit embarrassed. I’ve been told I’ve got an anterior placenta and I’ve been in triage around 5/6 times since 25 weeks for reduced movements. I’ve since moved and my care has changed to my current hospital. I went in over two weeks ago for reduced movements, ctg was fine and was referred for a scan to double check - that went perfect as well. I went in today because she again, wasn’t moving much - soon as I got there she was all active and wiggling away. Ctg went perfect again but they’ve referred me for a scan again to double check. I just feel like I’m wasting their time and I’m a bit embarrassed about it all. I know I’m doing the right thing by getting it checked if she has reduced movements - I just worry about other people thinking I’m being a bit dramatic! Has anyone had a similar situation?

Boy or girl? 🩷🩵

I've just had my 12 scan and I'm curious as to what people think the little one might be ☺️

I know you can look into the nub theory, so I'm curious if some of you can tell 🤨🤭

This is the clearest photo they could get due to previous C-section scar and baby just not playing ball today 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Mucus plug

I lost my mucus plug today
I was wondering at 35 weeks would it regenerate or is it just now a wait and see game ??

Dummy for hospital

I’m having a right mental block. How do I pack a dummy for baby for the hospital if it only stays sterile for 24 hours!? This is my second baby but I cannot for the life of me remember what I did last time 🤦🏻‍♀️
