Hi I’m up because I’m booked for induction Saturday and I’m anxious about it all 😭😭😅
My second baby.

The first 6 weeks they are learning growing etc so I was similar with my first girl she would sometimes wake up at this time…

You are not mama! 17 day old here. You’ve got this!

I had an induction with my first and although it didn’t get things moving straight away, it wasn’t a bad experience! Hope you manage to switch off and get some sleep soon!

My issue is I’ve been trying to put her down since 9pm and it’s been feed, nappy, feed, nappy and next to me crib aversion ever since.

5 day old here, also not alone! Mine doesn’t like to sleep in a cot ever so it’s contact naps the entire time 😴 having to take it in shifts

Are you breastfeeding? Could well be cluster feeding as it seems they have a growth spurt around the 2-3 week mark so more feeding is common.
So far the thing that's saved me is dad taking a shift holding baby for the first stint of a couple of hours (or as long as possible!) and then co sleeping in bed from there so I can feed him side lying and still get a little bit of sleep at the same time. Check out Lullaby Trust for how to co sleep safely if that's something you might want to consider. This is my second baby and co sleeping saved me with my first! 😅

Reduced movements!

Hi girls - I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and feeling a bit embarrassed. I’ve been told I’ve got an anterior placenta and I’ve been in triage around 5/6 times since 25 weeks for reduced movements. I’ve since moved and my care has changed to my current hospital. I went in over two weeks ago for reduced movements, ctg was fine and was referred for a scan to double check - that went perfect as well. I went in today because she again, wasn’t moving much - soon as I got there she was all active and wiggling away. Ctg went perfect again but they’ve referred me for a scan again to double check. I just feel like I’m wasting their time and I’m a bit embarrassed about it all. I know I’m doing the right thing by getting it checked if she has reduced movements - I just worry about other people thinking I’m being a bit dramatic! Has anyone had a similar situation?

Mucus plug

I lost my mucus plug today
I was wondering at 35 weeks would it regenerate or is it just now a wait and see game ??

Dummy for hospital

I’m having a right mental block. How do I pack a dummy for baby for the hospital if it only stays sterile for 24 hours!? This is my second baby but I cannot for the life of me remember what I did last time 🤦🏻‍♀️

C section date

Just received my c section date , I’ll be 40+3 , was expecting it to be at 39 weeks so feeling a bit deflated and anxious about going into labour before the date, had a previous traumatic emergency c section 2 years ago. Anyone been in similar situation, could I request it gets brought forward ?

33 week scan

Need advice and reassurance, at my 33 week scan baby was weighing at 4lbs 11 I’m a bit worried I hope that’s a good weight my daughter was just below average when she was born and I’ve had a really bad experience with her with people constantly saying “aww she’s so small “ she’s so tiny” etc etc and cause of that I’ve been really stressed out with baby’s weight during this pregnancy

Any advice on how I can get baby’s weigh up ? Perhaps eat certain foods?
