I was finding it difficult to feel that I coupd let myself go into labour properly with my 2.5 years old around, kept having mire and more signs and needed to have my husband.with me.
Now we have sent her with friends, and keep having to re-assess and chat to mire friends to take over and there is always unplanned situations their sides to respond to and it may be making me disconnect from this first stage of stop start and accumulation of new more intense sensations and ar the same time I miss my daughter so so much it hurts and I don't feel I prepare her for this random "being passed around" tour as we were always hesitating until last minute to let her stay with our friends. I gave in on Wednesday eve as I had had such a short night Tuesday really feeling as a dilating was occuring and was so exhausted.
Now still no baby and the feeling of guilt is adding to the mix.
How did you handle this if you have no family around like us?
Am I going to eventually let go or should I try to see her to chat and reassure us both even though it might stall labour some more?

Oh love I sympathise, because unless I have a magical 6 hour labour I fully expect to be in the same shoes as you. Personally I would see her again - it will give you both a big boost and might kick your oxytocin off a bit more.
If you have a partner can he take over the comms with all the friends? Hope things get going for you soon xx

Urgh its so stressful! Im in the hospital having a slow induction since yesterday and I'm lucky enough that my parents have come to stay to help with childcare but they keep moaning about how long it could take and im sick of it so even having family around doesnt help 🙃🙃🙃
The doctor told me you can't circumcise your baby boy with out the vitamin k shot, but I don't want him to have the vitamin K shot, but I do want him to get circumcised.
What are your guys experience?

I am waiting for my daughter to be 6 months to start a sleep training method. Currently, she only does naps on me and nights are divided into two where my husband keeps her until 10:30-11:30 (she sleeps on him) and then we co-sleep. I am not sleeping obviously since she eats often or wakes up because she wants comfort🙃.
Any advice? What did you do? What do you recommend?
She’s extremely attached to both of us and we tried the cry out method when she hit the 4month regression and it was HORRIBLE. I cried with her, she was way too young. She’s 5 months now and we’re going on a trip but as soon as we’re back, for my sanity we need to do something about it🥲.

hey everyone! i did a Keeping in Touch day today at work for the first time and left my little one with grandma, she was absolutely fine playing but when it came to nap time she cried so much because she usually feeds to sleep with me, around 4 months old she used to take a bottle no problem when I had my mum look after her but now she is refusing the bottle, I guess at 8 months she is obviously able to tell the difference and just doesn’t like it… Im just worried that she won’t nap properly when i go back to work fully because she won’t like feeding from the bottle.
Has anyone got any tips to teach baby to take the bottle too if they’re exclusively breast fed? Luckily today was just a half day so i ran to my mums to feed her and put her down 😀

My little one is two years old. We put her hair up or clip it back so it's not in her eyes. I had bangs when I was little and so did my sisters, so my mom naturally asked if I was going to give my daughter them. My husband has also asked me if we're going to. I'm not sure about it. Obviously if she asks for bangs when she's older she can have them, maybe I just have bad memories of trying to grow out my bangs for a while lol and having them be crooked when my mom tried to cut them herself.
