Baby no 2 🥲

We werent ttc yet and were using precautions so VERY surprised, but happy surprised! We have decided much like our July 25 baby, we just needed the nudge cause who ever feels ready for a second baby 🙈

Anyone with just under a two year age gap, how bad is it going to be? 😂😅

Mine are 2 years 10 days apart and it was ok. We made sure oldest boy was very aware there was going to be another baby. We also didn't do any big changes in the run up to baby arriving so he was still in his room in the cot, nappies, dummy etc. We've removed all these since.

Do things like introduce with baby in a cot so it's not you holding onto baby and tbh newborns are boring so make sure you put baby down to play with older one.

Hardest parts were a few times by boy needed me whilst I was BFing. A few episodes of jealousy but tbh it's been fine. It's harder now baby is nearly 10 months as she's standing up on furniture etc but toddler is getting rougher as he just wants to play.

Oh and my eldest stopped napping when baby was 3 weeks old. That was fun!

I wouldn’t call it bad. I would say they are moments where you can be overwhelmed and challenged but it’s doable and enjoyable.

I found it really challenging when I was potty training as a lot of running to the toilet while holding baby etc.

But the bond is amazing. They love each other very much and my first is very proud of their sibling.

My bubbas are 19 months apart, and while it's definitely a challenge at times and you might feel 🫪, there are so many wonderful moments too. Honestly, you wouldn't want to change a thing about it

My first and second are 22 months apart and baby #2 and baby #3 will be 18 months apart. (Due in March with #3)

Agreed with all the mommas above!
I have two boys 2yrs and 12 days apart. Currently 2yrs old and 3 months and I’ve just rated potty training the second 😅
There are challenges but I’ve made sure our oldest feels included and cared for. No major transitions for him. The only transition we made was him moving into a big boy room but he did great with that and he still has his paci and lovey. Don’t plan on taking them for a few months. At least until we get potty training down. He’s done great with his baby brother and I’m excited to see them bond the older they get!

Second Baby

Does anyone know if a second child is likely to have CMPA if the first child did. My second is now 3 weeks old and has struggled a bit with trapped wind over the last couple of days. I definitely had more feeding issues by now with my son. But I’m spiralling a bit at the thought of going through it all again?

Is it just me or??

Is it me or are any other moms anxious of how and when they’ll be giving birth. I had a traumatising labour the first time (like most women tbh) I am now dreading either going under the knife again or having to try for a natural labour again which may as well fail again. I don’t trust my body to do what it had to the first time (it couldn’t) for the second time and I am seriously dreading not being able to see my daughter to her reception classes for at least 4 weeks due to recovery of a c section. I am so nervous bless me and I want this baby out soon. Like guys wtf 😬😩😩😩

Anyone else just really uncomfortable 🤣?

I’m 33 weeks tomorrow, I’m all baby/bump and I just feel so squished, the right side of my ribs are so uncomfortable I can’t sit in any position comfortably. And now my right side of my lower back into my butt and right leg has started 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️
