Pregnancy anxiety

Hello, I’m currently 27 weeks pregnant and have felt anxious the whole way through however it is getting worse.

Its draining me constantly thinking something is wrong when everything is perfectly and my baby is healthy.

I had a scan today and even after they told me everything is perfect i still cant shake this fear that there is something wrong.

Did anyone else suffer with this? If so what did you do to help?

Thankyou

Ask to be referred to the maternal mental health team for support!

Hiya, I don't have any useful advice on this I'm afraid but I'm sorry to hear you're feeling like this, I did feel anxious in the first trimester but luckily it has now eased. Have you tried meditation? Jason Stephenson on YouTube helps me when I do feel overwhelmed.
I really hope you find something that helps. Feel free to message me if you want to chat. Becky x

Definitely worth talking to your midwife and asking if you can be referred to the perinatal team for maternal mental health support, if you’re in England like me there is support and I’ve had a session and been invited to an anxiety group especially for first time mums in the same situation as me. Would recommend ❤️ you got this xxxx

Baby no 2 🥲

We werent ttc yet and were using precautions so VERY surprised, but happy surprised! We have decided much like our July 25 baby, we just needed the nudge cause who ever feels ready for a second baby 🙈

Anyone with just under a two year age gap, how bad is it going to be? 😂😅

Second Baby

Does anyone know if a second child is likely to have CMPA if the first child did. My second is now 3 weeks old and has struggled a bit with trapped wind over the last couple of days. I definitely had more feeding issues by now with my son. But I’m spiralling a bit at the thought of going through it all again?

Is it just me or??

Is it me or are any other moms anxious of how and when they’ll be giving birth. I had a traumatising labour the first time (like most women tbh) I am now dreading either going under the knife again or having to try for a natural labour again which may as well fail again. I don’t trust my body to do what it had to the first time (it couldn’t) for the second time and I am seriously dreading not being able to see my daughter to her reception classes for at least 4 weeks due to recovery of a c section. I am so nervous bless me and I want this baby out soon. Like guys wtf 😬😩😩😩
