My LO is 3 months old and she is sleeping through the night (9pm/10pm - 6am/7am)
However, health professionals are asking about her nap times. We dont monitor her naps at all, we just let her sleep when she wants too - is this right?
Just curious what others do?

Daytime naps we don’t track because they’re always different! But it tends to be every 2 hours but sometimes they last 10 mins and sometimes 2 hours!
Try the huckleberry app, it’s free to use and you can track the naps on there and then use that to refer back to

Im glad we aren't the only one - our thoughts are that she is still a baby and aslong as she is happy and sleeping through i wouldnt implement a nap time last we do with out 21 month old.
Our main question was are other waking their babies at a specific time 😂🫣
Glad you have are similar minded to us

We used to track, it didn’t mean much until about 5/6 months when he established his own routine, and for our own peace of mind that he was getting enough daytime rest. You might find that’s what health professionals are really asking, that they’re getting some downtime, as there’s a misconception around less daytime sleep = better nighttime sleep but they need the daytime rest for development x

My son is almost 3 months old and we let him sleep whenever he wants. He feeds every 3-4 hours, sometimes at night he goes long stretches of 4-5 hours. I just wouldn’t let it go past this, I would try feed if not I’ll let him sleep and he will wake up when he is ready x
Hello! My baby is 6 weeks old and she only gets sleep when she contact naps on either of our chest so my partner and I take turns sleeping at night. Everyone keeps telling me to be careful of her getting used to it but I don’t know how. There came a period when she slept in her cot but now as soon as I put her down, the Moro reflex kicks in a few times and she wakes up and we’re back to square one…any advice?

Are nappy bins actually worth it? Baby girl is due next month and I’m buying the last bits and bobs but I’ve heard mixed things about nappy bins! Would only be used in the bedroom to save me going up and down the stairs during the night but I’ve been told to save my money as I won’t actually use it that much?

Has anyone transitioned their baby out of their bassinet to the pram? Not sure if too early?

What does everyone think of the Lindsay Clancy trial? The whole trial has just had me in bits, for everyone involved. Being a mum and going through post partum struggles I do understand. And a lot of people will say ‘she killed her kids!’ Yeah, she did. But how many times did she reach out to people, her mum, her MIL, mental health workers, suicide line, mother and baby groups? Her search history was all about how to care for her kids and her kids! No one in the trial has a bad word to say about her. The whole story is sad and when you’ve been through needing help like that yourself you understand it more. I hope she gets the help she needs

It’s been a crazy couple of weeks! Baby randomly started refusing his milk — I can’t help but think it’s linked to teething and him absolutely hating Calpol. It got to the point where he was clamping his mouth shut and spitting it out, and anything he did manage to drink would come back up.
We went to the doctor on Wednesday and, apart from being a bit fussy, he’s perfectly healthy. He does have a little bit of reflux, which is new, but it’s just really difficult not to worry that he isn’t drinking enough.
He previously went off one of his formulas, so we’ve tried a different one. He is taking this one rather than immediately spitting it out, but he’s still not drinking as much as he used to.
I’m now super paranoid about whether he’s getting enough! It’s just such a random change in his attitude towards milk. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

I haven’t used a bottle of breastmilk in months for my baby because I haven’t needed too. I wanted to see if he would still take it as I am away with him and my friends next month and fancied a drink. He has just completely rejected the bottle, the Philips Avent and also Mam bottle. I am trying him with an open cup for water but I know that takes a long time. I don’t go back to work until a few weeks before he turns 1 so he is going to need to take pumped breast milk from my husband before he can have cows milk drink at 1. I am thinking if he can use a cup he could have his milk from that. Has anyone got any advice or recommendations please?
