We are 6 weeks in with my little boy. I adore him, he brings a smile face whenever I look at him.
However I do not think he is the centre of my universe.
I am a planet with multiple suns and my son is one of them perhaps one of the bigger ones but he is not the only sun in my life.
Is this unusual to say and feel ?

I mean … idk but I can’t relate bc my kids are my reason for living.

This is healthy and will save you a lot of heartache. Definitely keep room in your life for other passions and loves if you can.

Agree, definitely healthy. Loving work, having hobbies, your identity isnt solely about being a mother. I love my girls and I also love a lot of other parts of me that make me me. Dont feel guilty for enjoying other things besides motherhood.

Eh idk what you mean specially. I mean my kids are everything. But my life doesn’t revolve around them. My schedule doesn’t revolve around them. Yes they are apart but I’m not sure gonna stop everything I want to do because I had a child

This is such a healthy view. You're still a whole person, being a mom doesn't change that.
It's not toward the baby but my husband

I get so damn emotional & get my feelings hurt so easily, can’t stop crying I hate how I let people words and actions affect me especially when it’s based off opinions.

This is so hard. Witching hour is more like ‘5 hours’ and sometimes is just off and on all day. It’s so stressful and I feel so helpless some days. She screams and it goes right through me. I’m lucky that it’s not crying non stop like colic, it’s off and on, but it’s still horrendous. We’re at at 10 weeks, does it ever change???

Had my baby boy 5 days ago and had an episiotomy as baby wasn’t coming out just had the midwife out and my stiches have came away but no sign of infection but am still really sore especially when going to the toliet. If anyone has had anything similar how long did it take to heal or generally just stop being as sore
