Definitely find a pelvic health PT in your area that specializes in prenatal and postpartum. Likely due to a change in hormones ! Where do you live?

Are you on any additional progesterone?

When you go for your 16 weeks appointment speak to your midwife about it, they can maybe refer you to physio and they can help you with the pain, or you can self refer

So I know it’s not this yet but for future reference when I went into labor it was all back pain in the beginning! It was my first sign of labor- again not saying you in labor obviously, just saying just in case when you do eventually have labor pay attention to the back pain cuz that’s what woke me up one day and it took me a few hours to realize the back pain was cuz I was in labor and I wish someone told me cuz I was expecting all the pain to be in the front lol

I experienced the same thing during that time frame! It happened most when I was on my feet and standing/sitting for long periods of time and on the worst days it would take about a day and a half of rest for it to go away. I was hunched over like a lil grandma lol. But I've learned that it was my body adjusting to the hormones that loosen up everything. I still have gotten it occasionally, but have learned to manage it with short frequent walks and I'm seeing a physical therapist for exercises to help alleviate symptoms. There are plenty of helpful videos on YouTube for pregnancy yoga too! It would also make me experience insane rib pain too with the changing hormones, that now I've adjusted that by making sure I am sitting with plenty of pillows behind me supporting a more upright sitting position (where belly button is level with the ground) versus lounging and belly up, if that makes sense. This has helped tremendously though it took some time to adjust to.
I had my daughter a 8 months ago, I told my husband that always had a baby girl named picked out since I was about 13 years old. And he was OK with it. He just changed the spelling which I’m not a huge fan but I still love her name.
Her first name is Sunni middle name Ella Rae. I don’t really love the Ella part or how Sunni is spelled I think it should be spelled as Sunnie so it makes more sense. A few people have commented on it, aka my mother-in-law to be specific. Did I choose a real name for my daughter?

I got into a car accident two days ago. I got abdominal pain couple hours after, so I went to the hospital, they checked me over and said everything seemed fine. I’ve had no bleeding and no pain since. However I have no pregnancy symptoms anymore. I’m 12 weeks and have another scan booked in for tomorrow. Am I over thinking this or can this be normal for how far along I am now ??!

Hey, I am being induced closer to my due date and the consultant has mentioned using the balloon for induction. I had a pessary when induced with my second.
Anyone had both methods and can tell me how different those labours were or wasn’t? 🩷

Is it a good idea for a baby to move home every 3/4 days to co parent?
I want to breast feed which I wouldn’t be able to if we do 50/50 and I feel that’s unfair to both me and the baby I’m pregnant with.
Is it ever a good idea to 50/50 share a newborn baby? Am I wrong to say no?
I won’t get into baby daddy situation but he’s awful. Regardless of that is it ever a good idea for a newborn to bounce between homes so often? I would be ok with the idea from when the baby is 12 months but immediately after birth I think is a crazy ask from the dad.

I’m 33 weeks tomorrow and I feel bad that some days I just want to be left alone and veg on the sofa! Does anyone else feel the same way? My boyfriend is super active and never sits down. When he makes a joke that I’m sitting around, I just get emotional about it. I just cry! 😅 And then I feel stupid for crying! It’s like a continuous cycle. But when I am on my feet all day, I get horrid pelvic pain, leg and bum pain. I just try to make myself move! I’m just finding it difficult to be kind to myself. Some days are worse than others I suppose.
