Need advise on starting solids
Hello fellow IUGR/SGA moms, when did you start solids for your petite babies? Mine is 5 months 1 week old and hasn’t developed good neck strength to sit up on his own yet since he is so small (5.2 kg). So do you start solids anyway if they can’t still sit at 6 months ?

No, wait for all signs of readiness. Head and trunk control, bringing things to mouth, lost tongue thrust reflex, 6 months old.
Mine wasnt ready until like 7/8 months
