Mums with SGA (small for gestational age)/ IUGR Babies

Hello fellow IUGR/SGA baby mommas , how is your baby weighing now? ( Please add your baby birth weight and what they are currently) Mine is 24 weeks and 5.355 kgs and he was born at 2.055 kgs. He is exclusively breastfed but health visitor is worried since he is not putting on weight as he should. He is a hyperactive baby and is not bothered to feed at all.

Hello fellow IUGR/SGA moms, when did you start solids for your petite babies? Mine is 5 months 1 week old and hasn’t developed good neck strength to sit up on his own yet since he is so small (5.2 kg). So do you start solids anyway if they can’t still sit at 6 months ?

Hi! I’m 28 weeks pregnant and my baby girl is measuring at 26 weeks. The doctor says I have placental insufficiency. I’m fucking freaking out. I don’t know what to do. They’re saying I’ll need to induce at 37 weeks but we’re moving 6 hours away TODAY and I won’t have my new insurance set up until at least August. I’m so afraid. Is this my fault? Am I failing her? This pregnancy has been so so difficult with HG and other life circumstances making it deeply challenging and stressful, and this just feels like the cherry on top. Any reassurance would be appreciated.

I have an almost 4 month old who was born at 37 weeks and 1 day. Now I don’t understand these percentiles lol. My obgyn never talked percentiles and neither did my MFM. We kind of just went by weight? My daughter was born 4lbs 10oz, and was 4lbs 7oz when we left the hospital. At 2 weeks old she was 5 lbs 10 oz. and at 2 1/2 months she was 10lbs 7oz. Now since I said I don’t understand these percentiles, does anyone know what percentile she could be in? I check chatgpt 🤣 but it doesn’t really give me an accurate answer.

My 12 weeks baby girl was born on the 8th centile for weight (2.7kg), dropped for the 2nd centile in the 1st two weeks. She’s stayed on the 2nd centile for weight ever since. She’s very happy healthy and alert. I just worry about her being so small with a tiny petite (but very cute) face. It’s hard when all I see are these chubby babies! Just looking for some support, do they fill out or look abit chubbier/chunkier later down the line?
