2 under 2, SOSšŸ˜‚

Hello, I have a six month old and I’m pretty certain I’m pregnant again (unplanned). I just have no idea what to do! We also have a five year old and always planned to have baby number 3 a similar age gap to the first two. I would love to hear people’s thoughts on 2 under 2, if you’re being so honest would you do it again? Not just it’s great cause I’ve done it and I love my children vibes šŸ˜‚ I love being a mum more than anything in the world, I want to enjoy motherhood not get to the end of my babies being little and feel like I’ve barely kept my head above water!

Hey. I’m 23 weeks pregnant and I have a boy who’s 1 next month. I was 6 months pregnant when I conceived.

People tell me it’s hard but also rewarding as they’ll be besties etc..

Congratulations by the way x

I was 6 months post partum when I got pregnant again. Pregnancy was hard but worth it. My baby is 3 months old now and eldest is 18 months and they have a beautiful bond. Some days are really hard and other days feel like a reward and I feel accomplished. It’s never linear but I know that this is not forever and I will feel normalise again some day but this is just my phase of life for a short while in comparison

Just make sure if you have a partner they know how to step in with your eldest from now so it’s easier when baby is here. My husband is on toddler duty when he’s not working and it’s a bigggg help

I love it. I have a 17 month gap and I would do it again in a heartbeat. They play so well together and are obsessed with each other. For me it has been easier than the first baby but busy, although my second is a very chill and content baby. The hardest phase so far has been around 2-3 months when he wanted to play on the floor but my eldest still needed help to understand how to be gentle so having a separate play space is helpful.

I have 3 under 3. Older two ignored each other for months and I guess its cuz my oldest had no idea how to play with his little brother yet. However the more theyre able to interact, the better their bond had become. Now they play together, share food, my oldest even lets me know when younger one is messing around. Its adorable. With my third , they both absolutely adore her. They light uo everytime she wakes up she gets lots of hugs and kisses from all of us. The hardest part id say is being heavily pregnant and having a toddler. Harder than newborn phase. So take it easy on yourself, try setting yourself up to let your 6 months old to get crawling and ready to walk and eating, no more rocking to sleep etc. Any small things you can do is a huge win later down the line. The other and most strongest advice I have is be mentally preparing your mind and body for the day to day grafting. Expect lots of downs and look forward to all the ups and small wins. Cherish every moment āœØļø

I've 3 under 4 (3 ,2 and 7 weeks) . My first and second are a year apart, I was 3 month pp when we found out about her, second was literally born a week and a half after her brothers first birthday. It has its difficult days, still does but I wouldn't change it for the world, they are absolutely the best of friends, as for my youngest they both adore her. Honestly if I could get a 7 seater car right now I'd have another set of Irish twins. Yeah its mental and there's days were I'm at my wits end but honestly watching them all bond and knowing im watching them make there their first best friends makes it all worth it

I think it depends on the temperaments of your children I have 17 month age gap and only now15 months later is it getting easier they just fight constantly we have been in the trenches!
I love that they will
Hopefully be super close but number three will not be any time soon! It’s been tough for us

Induction, suspected pre eclampsia, white coat syndrome

Hi all!🄰 So.. at my first booking appointment I had high blood pressure ( stage 1 or 2 hypertension ) but after monitoring at home they put it down to white coat syndrome. I had extreme anxiety because baby was unplanned etc & I hate hospitals. I had my routine antenatal appt on Friday and my bp was 142/92 . On this day I hadn’t slept and generally have more anxiety because I’m so close to my due date. I had to go to triage and be monitored where I got it under 140. I was still absolutely panicking though at the fact they said I might have pre eclampsia, and were talking about what would happen if I do have it. I had to go triage the day after again to have bloods done etc and more monitoring. Again got it under 140 (although still very anxious) I spoke to the doctor who then discharged me without needing meds, I got up and went to tell the midwife’s (doctor told me to) after walking to them to tell them I’m being discharged they said let me just check the bp 1 more time so I sat back down ( at this point I’m riddled with anxiety, after talking to the doctor and her saying my bloods will be back in a few hours I was so worried that something bad may come back) so I sat down and she took again and it was about 146/92. Obviously because I’m so so anxious and have just got up walking around. Doctor comes back and gives me bp medication and discharges me finally. So I’ve been back today for monitoring and bp was around 133/72. My bloods & urine came back completely normal. Baby is growing perfect & placenta normal. But now they’re saying I have to make a plan with the doctor about being induced on my due date. I don’t know what to do, it’s making me feel even worse. I feel like I’m completely fine. If I could just be a bit more calmer in hospital I wouldn’t be in this situation. My at home bp readings are around 111/72 , 115/73, 116/82. I really don’t know what to do, shall I just agree to the induction? Am I putting myself at risk for leaving it maybe to 41 weeks? I mean.. they tell someone with serious anxiety that they may have to be induced, which can be a long painful process and a lot lead to sections , but if I leave it longer my baby could be still birth( I understand they have to tell me what happens) but realistically my bp isn’t going to come down after telling me that 😫😫😫

Anyone else loosing track of what week they are on?

For some reason I thought I was 30 weeks and it turns out I’m 31w5 😳 I don’t know if it’s just baby brain or because I’m occupied with my toddler but I keep getting my weeks mixed up!

How is everyone getting on? - 33 weeksā¤ļø.

I just wanted to come on here and see how everyone else is getting on…

Except from the not sleeping and the constant need to be nesting at the minute round the house šŸ˜‚.

I’m super tired but ready for baby now.

Are your hospital bags packed? Baby has had hers done but I haven’t done mine yet. ā˜ŗļø
