For all of you who have had a baby already, what was your midwife app for the birth plan like?
Mine was done within 15 mins including BP check & listening to baby’s HR
The midwife literally said are you happy for the same as previously and to have midwives around - then nothing else.
Just seemed to be rushed and was wondering if this was just the norm the second time round? I remember with my first the MW came to the house & explained everything she possibly could

I haven’t even had a birth plan appointment. My next appointment with the midwife is next Friday when I turn 39 weeks, but all of them up to now we’ve just done the usual checks

Im 38 weeks and never had one with either baby

The Midwife standing in for mine while she's on vacation went through my birth plan at my 36 week appointment. Just asked if I knew about delayed cord clamping, the non evasive pain relief available etc etc.

I had an appointment with the consultant midwife who agreed my birth plan, so I have written it on a word doc with an A, B and C, and sent it to my midwife to upload on my file. I will also be printing copies to take with me. Midwife appointments don’t typically allow time for thorough birth plans

Not even had one of these appts!
I’m 26 weeks pregnant and I was told I was having a girl by 2 different sonographers yet for some reason I have a feeling it’s a boy and I can’t get that thought out of my head . Is anyone else experiencing this
Added a picture of my 16 week scan 🩷

I am in a dilemma, would love to hear about everyone's experience, i am thinking to go for an elective c section as I don't want surprises at the end, what's everyone's experience been like?

Hi everyone, I’m a first time mum and at my 32 week growth scan, the head was measuring about 35 weeks. The overall estimated fetal weight is on the 70th percentile and abdomen on 50th percentile. I can’t stop worrying about the big head size and thinking I won’t be able to give birth if it’s that big. Has anyone had any experience of this? Could it even out at my next growth scan?

I had a 13 week scan and wondered what everyone’s predictions would be for gender? Or if it’s unclear?
