Hi everyone, I’m a first time mum and at my 32 week growth scan, the head was measuring about 35 weeks. The overall estimated fetal weight is on the 70th percentile and abdomen on 50th percentile. I can’t stop worrying about the big head size and thinking I won’t be able to give birth if it’s that big. Has anyone had any experience of this? Could it even out at my next growth scan?

Hi ! My babies head was measuring 95- 98 percentile my entire pregnancy .
I gave birth last week at 39+ 2 and his head size was average and so was his weight . I had no tearing . There’s always a margin of error 💕 Hope this helps

Yes my first boy had a massive head and it took a long while to push it out, my girl was smaller and fine but I was not overjoyed to find that my third also has a huge head, 87th percentile. Hopefully as it's my third it might be easier than first time 😂 they take after their dad and his massive melon head!

I've got the same worry!! Ours overall is 33 percentile but her head is 87th😭 praying it's not as dramatic as it sounds?!

Growth scans are not very accurate, 15% wrong in either direction, and the further along you get the less accurate, and if baby's head is down low in your pelvis even more inaccurate! So they're good for identifying trends, if your baby was low centiles and has suddenly shot up, or the other way round....but they're not a predictor of size/weight. It's just an estimate.
I’m 26 weeks pregnant and I was told I was having a girl by 2 different sonographers yet for some reason I have a feeling it’s a boy and I can’t get that thought out of my head . Is anyone else experiencing this
Added a picture of my 16 week scan 🩷

I am in a dilemma, would love to hear about everyone's experience, i am thinking to go for an elective c section as I don't want surprises at the end, what's everyone's experience been like?

I had a 13 week scan and wondered what everyone’s predictions would be for gender? Or if it’s unclear?
