Midwifes comment made me feel uncomfortable.

I had my 36 week midwife appointment yesterday and my midwife said that my bump looks round now and before it was looking a little flat. She said this whilst listening to the heart beat. I didn’t know how to respond as I would’ve never had thought that a midwife was looking at my bump and judging its shape.

This is my second baby and I am definitely slightly overweight. I do not have the very round bump that you see all over social media.

I have no idea why this has upset me so much and made me feel uncomfortable about seeing her again at my next appointment.

My bump would change shape all the time from baby turning over - especially my 2nd, he liked to lay sideways and then would turn and stick his bum right out

After spending a bunch of weeks in and out of hospital from 27weeks on. My twins were born 34+4. Spent 9 days in hospital following that. Had a horrible experience and my babies needed tube feeding which they refused to tech me how to do so I needed to call them every 3hrs to do it. They’d take longer and longer to come, my newborn was 4.5hours with out food. I told her this is not acceptable, and she abruptly said “looks like the babies aren’t the only ones who need sleep” shut the door and left without feeding my babies. A different one came another 20mins later. I just sat there crying by myself with my tiny babies next to me. It was awful. Just writing that brought tears to my eyes. I don’t think your midwife meant any harm…

2 under 2, SOS😂

Hello, I have a six month old and I’m pretty certain I’m pregnant again (unplanned). I just have no idea what to do! We also have a five year old and always planned to have baby number 3 a similar age gap to the first two. I would love to hear people’s thoughts on 2 under 2, if you’re being so honest would you do it again? Not just it’s great cause I’ve done it and I love my children vibes 😂 I love being a mum more than anything in the world, I want to enjoy motherhood not get to the end of my babies being little and feel like I’ve barely kept my head above water!

He’s got some kidney issues and I am high risk, add in anemic and having a b12 deficiency. Yay pregnancy !
I’m ready for him to come out 😭 I’m due Sept 30 but schedule to be induced Sept 22nd if he doesn’t come on his own. Jesus please him come on his own 😭
