Hello ladies. I am scheduled to travel alone with my son this October on a 14 hour flight.
Looking for tips specifically on below:-
- navigating airport. I suppose it’s not possible to bring a cabin trolley luggage since I have to push a stroller at the same time. How to pack baby essentials?
- on flight - the flight will take off at 9pm. What time should I put my son to sleep? What do I entertain him on a 14 hour flight?
- any other thoughts / recommendations?
Thanks in advance!

When I flew with mine at that age. I had him in the stroller and then the largest rucksack I could get in the cabin with al the essentials. Leave yourself loads of time to get through the airport. You need the stress of having to rush. I found staff and other passengers so helpful. Definitely ask for help if you need some one to put your stroller down/ chuck a back in the overhead etc.
when I have done a long haul at night I have tried to keep baby awake in the airport then when up in the air I’ve locally done the night time routine with him. Got him in his pjs, story, milk and he has slept pretty much the entire way. He woke when they turned the lights on for breakfast. I take busy books, reusable stickers and fidget toys. A new book and plenty of snacks. Mine for some reason will not eat plane food so maybe take breakfast with you just in case. We always take a pillow for him to sleep on across me and his seat.

I’ve personally never had an issue pushing the stroller and a small wheelie suitcase, you just push one and pull the other.
Baby’s stuff in their own cabin bag, it’s medically exempt of weight and liquid limits so take what you want and just declare it’s the baby’s at security. They’ll just take a swab and that’s it.
Put him in his pjs to fly, let him walk around the terminal and tire out first. I’ve done long haul night flights alone and most times they’ve slept most of the way 10/12 hours.
I sometimes just reclined by seat and laid her on me but if an empty seat was there I made a blanket bed and let her lay out. Air crew are your best friend, they will help you if you ask. I had crew hold her in the galley and entertain her whilst I used the loo, bring me my meal after others as I was napped trapped, bring me things as I can’t move.
I am needing new ideas for snacks and meals for my 18 month old. He's typically a pretty good eater but we struggle getting him to eat protein. Looking for some healthy high protein/ high fat ideas that might not end up on the floor 😆.
No allergies and the only things he really refuses are eggs, and any kind of unground meat.

Hi looking for some mum advice!
My little boy has his 12 month jab today and my husband is on annual leave for the next two weeks and wants to book a holiday for us to go away.
I’m nervous anyway as will be first abroad holiday but now hearing stories about the side effects of the jabs and wondering whether the timing is awful for my little boy.
Would you go on holiday (Spain most likely) in the days after the 1 year jabs or is that just asking for trouble?

My husband and I are going on a cruise this weekend. I saw that my son was potentially unable to go because we couldn't get his passport on time. I got excited. SO excited. I love my son more than life itself.. but a 4 day vacation without him felt like paradise...
Until my cousin told my husband that we could just use his birth certificate. I was so pissed and frustrated. This vacation is costing us $2000+. I wanted to be able to enjoy it. Now I feel ungrateful and a bad mom knowing he'll be coming. He's 4.. and severely hyperactive. I won't enjoy myself at all. Literally all I'm looking forward to now is the unlimited liquor 😂😅.
I'm also an introvert. I'm going with my family. *Heavily extroverted people*
I hate myself for wishing he wouldn't be there.. am I alone on this?

Me and my husband are hitting a rough patch rn. He says it feels like I don’t love him. I do though but our lives just feel so different rn. My son just turned 2 and I feel like we’ve been focused on him. We don’t really have sex too much sometimes it’s just quick in the morning or night but not that good kind that lasts long. How can I make him feel special besides the sexual part like what are you guys doing daily for your husbands that make them feel good?? I also know I have to better my self to better my relationship because I have the same routine everyday and I’m cleaning 24/7 I just am tired or maybe even bored. I need any advice rn

I have been with my husband for 17 years (middle school sweethearts) we have 2 kids and really only have each other (no family near by) . I recently had a gut feeling and checked his phone and found out that he was seeing a 22 year old co-worker of his while I was pregnant. (8 weeks ppt now)They went on face to face dates and one message where he said I love you. He swares he ended it before it became physical but I’m absolutely devastated. He is my best friend and honestly the best dad and husband so this was an absolute shock. I don’t want to tear apart our family, loose my best friend and partner over this so I have decided to stay and have been loosing my mind loving him then hating him and going crazy with the what ifs. Has anyone given their partner a second chance after infidelity? How do I get past this?
