Owlet sock

How many of you have the owlet sock or something similar?

My girls 14 weeks and I haven’t gotten one due to them being so expensive, and she’s been absolutely fine, her last injections are next week as well until she gets them when she’s 1yr old. I just feel there’s too much anxiety about what’s right and stuff, I’m a first time mum and I just want my girl safe

I have didn’t have one for my first born as they wasn’t really that hyped up 3 years ago I can honestly say I sleep so much better knowing she has on on, compared to my first I was up at least every half a hour to check she was ok, as she was quiet poorly as a newborn my first I wished I got one would of saved me so much sleep , but they’re spendy I say it depends how you sleep at night personally only got it to help me actually manage to rest x

I don’t think I would sleep if I didn’t have it, gives me such peace of mind to know it would go off if there was something wrong

I’ve used one for both my boys and I couldn’t be without it. It helps me so much by putting my mind at rest during the night x

I have a son who’s almost 4 months and I’ve never used one. He’s been healthy from birth and personally I don’t feel it’s necessary. If I had a child who was a bit weaker or was premature then maybe I’d have a different opinion. I’m trying not to waste money on unnecessary baby stuff. I just make sure I’m practicing nhs safe sleep recommendations. That gives me peace of mind.

If you want one maybe you could get on of vinted for cheaper x

Nappy changing help

So we only have this problem at night and it’s only a recent thing. So my son has been feeding a lot at night. Every 2 hours or so and completely emptying both sides before going back to sleep. This means his nappies at every wake up are extremely full. Every time I change him he pees or there is so much in the nappy it ends up all over his back and I have to change his clothes. I have tried a tissue over, I’ve tried putting the new nappy on and pulling the old one from under it (I guess like the knicker trick some of you may have done as kids) and it is still everywhere. I’m already exhausted getting up so often and having to do a full clothing change at night is a nightmare… please help!

Tips for sleep…

My 3 week old takes at least 1-2hrs to fall back asleep after her midnight feed, any tips to get her to sleep quicker? I rock her til my arms fall off, she doesn’t give a shit about white noise and startles herself awake a lot 😩 and any tips on transferring her to her cot without her waking up cos her sweaty head was sticking to my arm would be grand too! Thank you. ❤️

Sleep regression anxiety

Anyone else get anxiety towards the end of the day knowing their baby is going through a sleep regression? We are trying to sleep train him and night 1 went amazing, while night 2 was worse than the NB trenches.. I can literally feel my heart racing as the clock approaches his bedtime 😭 I don’t know if we should just accept that we are in the thick of it and try to sleep train him later or keep going?? Any advice helps PLEASE!!
(If you are anti-sleep training please scroll past this post as my husband and I have already decided we 100% are sleep training.)
