My 3 week old takes at least 1-2hrs to fall back asleep after her midnight feed, any tips to get her to sleep quicker? I rock her til my arms fall off, she doesn’t give a shit about white noise and startles herself awake a lot 😩 and any tips on transferring her to her cot without her waking up cos her sweaty head was sticking to my arm would be grand too! Thank you. ❤️

You can try swaddle or love to dream sleeping bag

I feel so much for you mama! I remember when mine was at this age and I went through the same thing. For the sweaty baby head, put a burp cloth on your elbow before you lay her on your arms. That helps a lot, just don’t let the burp cloth fall in the crib. Or wear a long sleeve shirt.

Babies at that age don’t have a circadian rhythm. And there days/nights are actually reversed because when their in the womb and you’re moving around during the day, it puts them to sleep. Then when you’re sleeping they’re awake because there’s less movement. With that said, you can try sunlight in the morning and throughout the day. And then dim lights at night to help set their circadian rhythm!

100% get a good swaddle going, mine would wake herself up when her arms would flail around and it also makes them feel they're still being held

Definitely a Muslin cloth between your arm and her head, that helped us during the heatwave! I’d recommend a swaddle too as the rest have said and put her down feet first then rest of her body and place a hand gently on her for about 10-20 seconds. It will get better, but unfortunately it’s part of the newborn trenches, but it goes by so fast! You’ve got this mama 🤍
We dint let our MIL know that we were expecting our second one.But she planned her vacation around my due date and she is here with us from day one of our baby. She already complained twice to my husband that i am not letting her to hold my baby. This was when the baby was just 7 days old.She is not helping me with anything else , but interested in holding the baby all the time.I told her it will be helpful if you can free up some of time with cooking and housework, so i can spend more time with the baby.We do have a three year old who is going to daycare M-F, she is least interested in playing or engaging with him.Since the baby is two weeks old today, i was keeping her on the Momaroo baby swing near to my husband office, baby started crying and within a minute MIL rushed and tried to take her from the swing.I was near to swing patting her and my husband was watching us.I told her no need to hold the baby now and she just left and i can see that she was grumpy already, noticing that husband told me to give baby and i tried and she said no need.

Why does every post about breastfeeding get full of comments like "fed is best" and reasons why people couldn't breastfeed??
Sorry but do you think breastfeeding is easy? Like just because im breastfeeding is must have had a baby that just hopped on, no pain, smooth birth?
I couldn't breastfeed day 1, used formula to top up for a few days and coped with horrible pain to do it because breastfeed is best. I will do whatever is best for my babies and that is breastfeeding.
It was never the easiest and hurts everyone to start. Stop saying you couldn't when you just chose not to. Some people can't post mastectomy or adoption etc but for alot of those that posted. They could and made a choice. You don't need to go around saying "fed is best" to diminish the hard work, pain and hours that have gone in to a breastfeeding mums journey.

My girl is 13 weeks 4 days old, what are some developmental milestones she should be hitting or already have hit? I know every babies different but I want to know if she’s doing somewhat okay compared to other bubbas!
She’s starting to try rolling over and loves assisted sitting! She’s smiling and reacting to faces and discovering her hands, she’s also gotten much better at grabbing things she wants (and putting them in her mouth!) she’s also very close to giving me her first giggle!
Any advice is super appreciated!

Seeing if others have experienced this with their kids. My daughter needs deodorant, I don’t remember using it that young. Is that normal? I’ve used mine on her a few times, the native brand, works great! Wondering what non toxic aluminum free kid brands people would recommend ✨

Anyone else struggling with their little and sleep?! My girly is 16 days old and she will not be put down in her moses or next to me for even 5 minutes!! She’s been in our arms since she was born and we are exhausted to say the least - any tips and tricks?! I’m sleeping probably 2 hours per night and it just isn’t sustainable 🥴😮💨

Has anyone else received an appointment for health visitor appointment prior to the baby being born, I’m due November 8th and I’ve just received an appointment for 2 weeks time but I thought it was just after the baby is born
