How are we getting babies to nap with another babe to look after?

My little boy is coming up to 3 and my daughter 3 months, I think she only did a a couple of 20 min naps yesterday I can’t sit and do the contact naps like I did first time around because of my toddler! She does nod off in the pram but her naps are getting so much worse! Any tips? She isn’t a fan of the carrier ! If I hold her for a cuddle she nods off but I can’t sit around for hours with my toddler help!

We persevered with the carrier and it’s a life saver! Have you tried a different type of carrier/ made sure the fit is optimal?

Same as Yasmin, we use a baby carrier. I have a baby bjorn that’s up to 15kg I think. She fits very well in it, hips aligned (she was breech).

I have a 2 year old and 3m old I have a mamaroo that i put her in if i know ill be in the same room as her, if not its the carrier too..

I’m in the same boat, my youngest will go down but wakes after 20 mins grumpy and has been really hard to get to sleep this week in the day, I literally sat by the washing machine earlier to get him doze off 🙈😂.

I feel really bad for my three year old 😢 x

I pop in the cot in dark room
White noise and he does just go off and sleep and I have a loud 3 year old but he seems to just have drowned out the noise and can manage to nap I think the white noise helps

I slammed the door shut today and I said "NO MORE STUFF" because I couldn't take it anymore. My 3.5yo kept pushing and pushing for one more toy and to do this and do that and I literally fucking lost my cool

What freebies are people finding? I plan on getting a lot of things from car boots and baby markets to help with costs but if there’s anything else i’d appreciate hearing about them! xx

How to stop contact naps

My 4 month old will only contact nap.
She sleeps in her next to me at night with a love to dream swaddle but during the day will only contact nap, she won't nap if we're out and not often sleeps in her pram.
I always tried to put her down but since 6 weeks old, everytime I put her down she would wake up and not go back to sleep.

How has everyone else done it because I would like to get stuff done now while shes asleep.
She's a velcro baby during the day anyway so I dont get time for anything till my husband comes home.

Lady bits

So I have a little girl my first born was a little boy. I’ve noticed when I clean her she still has a lot of the white stuff from when she was born in her bits. Is this normal?

3 month jabs

Little one had her jabs around 11:45ish and every time she wakes up she's screaming and won't settle for a little while did anyone else have this and when is it time to be concerned

What happens if I don't BF for a day?

I have my friends wedding coming up but I can't take my 3mo along. I'm currently trying to build a freezer stash to feed him but not having much luck (getting 30ml a day if I'm lucky). My exclusively BF baby will spend the day with my mother in law being bottle fed (at this rate it will probably be formula) but I'm wondering, if I pump a couple of times throughout the day, will that be ok? I don't want to impact my BF supply but it'll be a busy day and I can't imagine spending hours in the loo pumping.
