This is me 👋🏼

Morning all! This is my second pregnancy, I am already a mother to a Three year old tornado and an eight year old fur baby!

Oh boy, this pregnancy is different to my first. My first didn't seem to change my body at all, for a long time. This tiny one, is making me nauseous, bloated, exhausted, I can't sleep and I keep getting hot flushes.

Hi 👋 congratulations! Also pregnant with baby number 2 - our first is 14 months. Like you I’m really feeling all the symptoms this time. I think caring for a toddler makes it all feel more challenging 💤

4 months PP and feeling really broody 😅😅

No I’m defo not planning to get pregnant anytime soon, but I’ve just suddenly been feeling so broody. I was pretty sure I was done after having my son (I also have a 6 year old daughter), but now I’m actually considering a 3rd 😅 what’s going on

Anxiety

Does anyone else struggle with the anxiety that they aren’t doing enough? My house is clean but I feel like I have to constantly be doing something to feel “fulfilled” in life. I can’t relax and I feel guilty when I do relax. I’m 38 + 4 days pregnant and I used to smoke to help with my anxiety but I haven’t since I’ve gotten pregnant. I have a scheduled C-Section in 4 days… I just want to feel content in the life I have not constantly yearning for it to be more “perfect”. Any advice or prospectives?

Gender blood test

Hey! I’m 9 weeks 6 days! Just did a blood test today to find out the gender. I was told it could take up to 7 business days. I was wondering if anyone got theirs early? Or 7 business days exact? Also how far along were u when u tested for the gender via blood?

Exercise 1st Trimester

Hii. I’m nearly 6 weeks and I’m definitely feeling the exhaustion bad.

Before getting pregnant I was pretty active. Not gym 3x per week type active, just here and there with the boyf when I could be bothered, couple Pilates, LBT, body conditioning classes here and there, running, lots of walking.

But now I’m so exhausted I am taking a different commute where I’m much more guaranteed a seat (haven’t ordered a bby on board badge yet, it’s just so awkward asking anyone to give their seat when they too may have a whole host of ailments for which they need the seat themselves). I’m managing 10-30 mins yoga several times pw if I haven’t fallen asleep super early after work.

Everyone’s telling me to continue weight training, but I’m so (probably irrationally) scared something will happen and I’ll lose the baby if I do any weights. Is this unfounded?

I also don’t want to have to announce in the classes that I’m pregnant as it’s so early, but I don’t want to do the class without the instructor knowing. I also don’t like going to the gym on my own especially during peak times and I cbb to go when my partner goes.

What are your thoughts? Xx
