Potty training help!

My little girl showed all signs of being ready in June. She nailed potty training with all the usual stuff, check list.
Then last week she had a sore bottom at nursery that really wasn't that bad and lasted less than 48 hours.
Ever since she refuses to sit on the potty. She is telling me wee and poo but fights doing it on the potty.
I spent yesterday putting her on the potty every 30 minutes but she just refuses to let go and do a wee. So she just ends up weeing all over the floor etc as she cant hold it in anymore.
She is panicking its going to be sore but its not.
I've tried reasoning with her. I've tried everything, bribery etc.
I cannot get through to her that she's safe and let go and it won't hurt doing a wee on the potty.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I’m laughing because I’m in the same position with my October baby. He’ll be two on the 20th of Oct. He was doing great earlier this year but we moved cross country and his potty things were packed away as we didn’t want to stress him out by potty training on the go. We finally got our things and found it in the boxes but now that it’s been a while he’s so uninterested in sitting like he was at first. I just have to be consistent on have him sit. No advice since I’m struggling with it but I’m in it with you sister!

You’re doing better than me. I’ve seen that popping in the potty takes longer to master from friends of mine

I know this sounds counterintuitive but I would take all the pressure of and step back from it. I know this’ll be a pain and mean may be staying in for a couple of days but I would explain to her that she doesn’t have to wee right now but it’s there when she wants it.
You could roll play some teddies on it and try and make it fun again and not scary?

There’s this saying that if you persist they resist and if you resist they persist… which is one of the truest things I’ve heard about parenting!

Husband omitted he was havibg drinks with Co workers after work

Hi guys! Just need advice. This has just been bugging and I have a weird feeling about what happened.

My husband usually tells me if he has lunch at work or some activities at work. But this time, he only said he'll be home late. He did not say he went out with co workers or anything relating to it.

When he got home, he usually talks about what happened at work etc. But last night he did not say anything.

So he did not eat a lot of dinner last night when he arrived. I asked him the next day. Why did he go home late last night. He just said he was drinking with his co workers. Then expanded nervously that his coworker is moving to a different job hence they went out.

There's so many things going on in my mind right now. And i feel a sick to stomach thinking I don't trust him anymore. Anything he will say will probably be a lie. I just can't do this. I feel like leaving him cause I just can't live with nit trusting my husband. The sad thing is I have 2 kids and i dont know what to do.

My son who is 3, is going to forest school nursery & he’s never been away from us before! :(

I work 3 days per week and my mum/dad has him as they’re retired.
He starts reception in September 27, so I thought it would be good to get him used to being in a setting so enrolled him into nursery 5 days per week 9-12 (they wouldn’t let me do any less days due to there funding)
As I did want him to go just 3.
He keeps saying to me he doesn’t want to go as he doesn’t know anyone and he feels scared & it’s breaking my heart! But I’m scared if I don’t send him he’ll struggle going to reception as it’s a big change???

Am I being irresponsible or is he being unreasonable?

So I’m trying to get dressed this morning in the master bathroom, and my one year old is playing in the master bedroom. I have the door open and I’m keeping an eye on her, but I’m going about my business brushing my teeth and what not. Now I’m NOT getting dolled up here —really just the minimum steps to get ready for the day. We have carpet and really there’s nothing she can get into in there. Sometimes she opens my dresser drawer and pulls out all the pants but .. whatever honestly. It makes her happy.

My husband is pissed saying I’m being irresponsible and the baby can pinch her fingers in our dresser drawers or fall into the furniture or whatever. He’s inventing about 10 different ways she’s going to hurt herself, but …. She’s fine. This is how I get ready everyday and really our room is pretty baby proofed in my opinion. I told him if he had an issue he is welcome to take a few minutes out of his day to watch her so I can get ready for once, but this is how I manage everyday and today is no different.

He is pissed saying he doesn’t have time for that because he has chores to do, he has to mow the lawn, etc etc etc.. so I say, FINE go do those things. The baby and I are good chilling right here minding our business like we do everyday! I’m a sahm and I watch her by myself 99.98% of the time. I have a good sense of what is safe and what’s a hazard by this point.

I also remind him that he has the luxury of sleeping in for an extra hour this morning while I took care of her. He got to workout this morning. He got to eat his breakfast in peace and then take a shower. Give me a break! I’m not even asking for help and I don’t care, but don’t you dare criticize me when you don’t even watch the baby.

Am I really being irresponsible for letting a one year old play in the next room while I get ready? Or is he being unrealistic because he doesn’t even know what it’s like to take care of a baby by himself?

Toddler daily activities?

What do you guys do for toddlers? My son just turned to and we don’t have a yard as we live in a town house. We go outside on walks and let him play with his water table and he runs and plays with the dog. My husband works from 12pm-10pm but from 5:30-10 is when we do walks, dinner, play, bed time. I just feel like lately we haven’t really done much during the day I want to get more organized and have more of a routine with him. What or how did you guys start that? Is there any calendars or devices to help be more organized. And what activities or learning activities do you follow??
