Will of God or mine?
Hello Mamas!
I’m new to the group and just got a whole new perspective on the will of God, especially in regards to my career path. I guess I’ve been subconsciously attaching myself to a title or specific career path not truly know if it is on God’s will or not. I’ve prayed over these positions and am willing to surrender my will for his. I’m working part time right now and bills are more than mine and my husband’s income. I don’t want to continue job hopping and in all honesty I would really love to stay at the shelter I am currently working at just in a different role like Donation/Fundraising Assistant or Transport Driver. However, I would need a pay increase because my current hourly pay is not enough to sustain us even working full-time. I would truly appreciate some biblical wisdom and guidance on what to do.
P.S. Administration/Office Support is my strength and I do enjoy it

Oh, goodness. I so resonate with you on the subconscious attachment. It is absolutely a process to submit our desires to His will. Imho, we have to fully surrender and not just be willing. Yes, it can be painful and a process, but the Lord will not abandon us in the refining. Praying with you that the Lord guides you in His will and that you have peace and fulfillment.
