I’m 8+2 and the nausea has been getting me down since I was 7 weeks. I’ve had slight nausea throughout the entire pregnancy but the past week it’s definitely picked up and it’s just miserable. If I don’t have a completely full stomach I start to feel nauseous and sometimes even dry heave/vomit a tiny bit if I don’t eat in time, but whenever I’m actually eating I feel sick and struggle to get through it, having to force-feed myself until I can’t any more. I can’t drink tea or coffee which I’ve had as my comfort drinks for years! And I’m developing a lot of aversions now depending on the day. I can’t wait for this to be over and to enjoy food and function normally again.
It could absolutely be worse and I appreciate that it isn’t, but I go back to work tomorrow (I’m a teacher) and I’m nervous about feeling sick/forcing myself to eat whilst I’m there. Really praying that it starts picking up in a few weeks 🙏

Have you tried speaking to your GP about anti sickness/ nausea medication? I was so sick between 6-9 weeks but the meds I’m taking have given me so much relief! X

The headaches are nasty too aren’t they :(
Definitely have a chat about it, I don’t feel completely free of nausea but I can manage my days better now.
I hope your appointment goes well and your symptoms settle soon!
Hopefully we don’t have long left x

This is the exact same as me!! I’ll go from being a tiny bit hungry to absolutely starving and need to eat asap or I feel so sick 😅. It happened on the train on the way home from work on Saturday and now I’m feeling really anxious to go back to work tomorrow and back on the train where I think it makes it worse🥹

Aww bless you I’m sorry to hear it’s making you anxious but also completely understand!! It’s horrible isn’t it having no control over it especially in public. It’s crazy how fast it switches. I’m planning on trying to always have lots of snacks with me!

I’m exactly the same and I am also a TA who is heading back to work tomorrow. Slightly nervous with my waves of feeling nauseous. I have packed pot of chewing gum, which seems to help with my sickness and pack of ginger nut biscuits. Im fed up of feeling sick all day then I force something down me and still feel sick. We’ve got this mamma x

I started to track my food intake and trying to find the trigger points. I found I can't eat 3 square meals anymore, I divided my meals to 4-6 smaller portions and sometimes I'd have soup or smoothie and it helps me. I found walking outdoors helps to get some fresh air and cools me down!

Yeah that makes sense I’ve been having to have smaller portions more often as well as I just can’t stomach a big portion any more! If I get a full meal anywhere I can eat maybe half. Soup will definitely be a go to especially as the colder months come in!
Obviously going to retest tomorrow morning but, do I have line eyes or is there actually something there??

Just wondering if anyone has any advice?
I'm 14 weeks postpartum after an emergency C-section and struggling to not hate my body. My scar is wonky and has a kink in it, I have the C-section shelf which is massively messing with my suspected long term body dysmorphia and I overdid it on the exercise which has made my belly more swollen than it has been. I avoid looking in mirrors because of all of this.
I want to exercise to like my body again but don't know how to do it without making it worse? Has anyone else struggled like this that wouldn't mind talking about how they dealt with it to love themselves again?

The consultant I was speaking with last Wednesday (when I thought I wanted a VBAC), put in my notes that I wanted a window curtain for my elective. Just wondering about everyone's experience with that if you had one? I know it won't gory or anything like that because it still blocks the icky parts lol, but just curious 😊

Hey ladies I have my c section booked in Aberdeen for tomorrow and I’ve completely forgot where I have to go in the morning, it’s only my 2nd time in that hospital, any advice would be great as my midwife isn’t answering her phone thank you xxx
