Mine didn't ease off until maybe the start of third trimester but then I ended up with even more issues near the end. I wish I could be more positive but I hated pregnancy and can't believe I did it twice xšŸ˜…

2nd trimester🫩

I had bad sickness starting at 10 weeks and unfortunately it didn’t let up until the start of the third trimester. There are things that might help! Around 20 weeks my sister in law gave me a jar of ā€œtempeh therapyā€ it’s just spices like ginger, clove, black pepperā€ etc. but whenever I was starting to feel nauseous I’d sniff it and it would help a lot. I was also prescribed ondansetron because I was losing so much weight in the first trimester. That helped too but I tried to only stick to the herbal remedies. But something you can talk to your doctor about if it gets worse.

With my first they prescribed medicine for the nƔuseas, and with my second they also prescribed but I didn't have any symptoms so I didn't need to take a single one

Also wish I could give you better news but it finally got better around 28 weeks for me šŸ˜‚ but the good news is you sort of get used to it / regain some energy to deal with it… all worth it in the end but don’t put pressure on yourself to feel better. You’re allowed to relax and complain as it can be brutal šŸ˜‚

Never🫠 38w3d rn and I still have to take nausea pills. And ive heard that if youve had morning sickness your whole pregnancy, you will indeed have sickness during labor🄓😵🤔

my morning sickness stopped as soon as i entered the 2nd trimester with my first.

C-section insecurity

Just wondering if anyone has any advice?

I'm 14 weeks postpartum after an emergency C-section and struggling to not hate my body. My scar is wonky and has a kink in it, I have the C-section shelf which is massively messing with my suspected long term body dysmorphia and I overdid it on the exercise which has made my belly more swollen than it has been. I avoid looking in mirrors because of all of this.

I want to exercise to like my body again but don't know how to do it without making it worse? Has anyone else struggled like this that wouldn't mind talking about how they dealt with it to love themselves again?

Has anyone done the window curtain for their elective? What was it like?

The consultant I was speaking with last Wednesday (when I thought I wanted a VBAC), put in my notes that I wanted a window curtain for my elective. Just wondering about everyone's experience with that if you had one? I know it won't gory or anything like that because it still blocks the icky parts lol, but just curious 😊
