Back to back

Hi Ladies

Just been told by my midwife baby is back to back (I’m 35 weeks) she said that’s unlikely to change at this stage but what I’ve researched says different. Anyone else had this and baby has moved into the correct position?

I’m going to be doing exercises to try and help him move etc

I believe they can change at any stage- my first moved from back to back during labour. Have a look at Upright Forward Open (UFO) positions, I found these really helpful.

My friend who gave birth 3 months ago, had baby back to back her whole pregnancy and at week 36 he flipped. I think the midwifes helped with a massage. Anything is possible. ❤️

Still likely to move. I second the upright forward leaning positions mentioned above

That's a complete contradiction to what my midwife said on Monday, she said all they want is to be head down in last few weeks and up until the day they can move from back to front and vice versa.

My first pregnancy he was back to back, and stayed like that, it was really interesting and weird all at the same time to see his hands and feet against my tummy. But it meant I had a really painful labour as his back was against mine.

This is my real life experience but u never know baby may move positions!
