Contractions or just normal cramping?

So last night I woke up so uncomfortable at 2am and gave up trying to sleep. Went downstairs and ended up having these awful stomach cramps with like pins and needles feeling and I think my stomach was tightening. I could barely move while they were happeneing. They were coming and going but every time I moved they'd start again.
Are these contractions or just cramps from the weight of the baby? They never felt like period cramps
FTM, 38 weeks today, no idea what I'm looking out for when it comes to contractions 😅
I just know that 6 hours later I feel okay again 🙄

Sounds like it could be the start of it. Call your midwife/hospital to get checked. X

Yeah this has been happening to me too, false labour maybe? I had it last night for a couple of hours and then it subsided

These sound like what I've been having for the last week. Its like round ligament pain. I wake up to burning pins and needles feeling under and up sides of bump and its so annoying. Its almost like cramp in leg but in bump. Last night I had 3 lots of cramp 10 mins apart and I was like...ohhhh then...nothing 🤣 il just keep going until something more productive happens lol

Yeah its all rubbish 😅 nothing feels good at 38 weeks to be honest haha it's mainly when I lay on my left so ive been propping myself up last couple nights

Baby's legs crossed

My newborn always has her legs in a cross, I couldn't stretch then out to put her in a carrier. I just googled it and apparently it could be cerebral palsy. Has anyone's baby had a similar cross leg?? Is it just the newborn scrunch?

6 months pregnant

I can’t believe I’ve gone 6 months without a deli sandwich with my first son I ate Jersey mikes all the time and never got sick but now that I’m pregnant with another boy I’m like craving it so bad that I gave in and having one for dinner tonight. I know you can heat up the deli meat but I’m craving a cold sub so I’m like fuck it women have sandwiches every day not in moderation and they are fine I’m sure I’m fine and Jersey mikes cuts it fresh for you.

Severe lower back pain - more explained.

Hi everyone!

I'm 35 weeks pregnant on sunday with my rainbow baby girl, I have suddenly been getting severe and I mean SEVERE lower back pain in waves and like a stretchy/burning sensation in both of my hips for a few hours now. I can barely walk to and from my bed to the bathroom.

My stomach isn't tightening with the pains but still getting braxton hicks seperately.

I did also have some very bad right knee pain with the back pain but that seems to of disappeared a little bit now.

What would your advise be? as I've never experienced this before.

Rolling

Has anyone’s baby started rolling yet? My boy is 15 weeks and he can now roll both ways and he is just absolutely wild trying to slide about the floor 😅

I have an older girl who didn’t do this for at least another couple of months yet so I thought I had more time haha!

Anyone else's newborn suddenly get a yellow weepy eye?

Eye itself doesn't look red. Might pop to pharmacy later 🤔
