I'm 41 and currently 6+4 weeks pregnant (naturally, 2nd pregnancy) and we've had our first scan today. The gestational sack was there, and heartbeat was visible but the embryo only measures just 4mm and the heartbeat was only 105 bpm. We were told the embryo is basically measuring 3 days younger (6+1)and we should come back in 10-14 days for another scan. I'm slightly worried now whether everything is ok...
Did anyone have a similar experience and it turned into a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby?

Measuring differently to your estimation is common as these things are never 100% accurate

Think of it this way, the embryo is measuring only 4mm.....that's super super tiny. 1mm is going to make a massive difference. So if they don't manage to get a super accurate measurement, that can throw out your dates anyway. Even then, it's normal and natural to be measuring slightly off your dates. It's not something to worry about.

My current pregnancy constantly measured behind for weeks, then i went to my dating scan at what i believed to be 12 weeks 3 days, and they said i was actually 12 weeks 6. Early scan measurements have such a small margin of error, heartbeat being picked up is a good sign & 3 days behind is nothing significant. My first pregnancy measured 4 days behind the entire time, he is 6 now
Hey everyone im just woundering to those mamas who have had a c section and then gave birth again if it was natural the secound time or called for anlther c section? And if another c section how was it your secound one? Did you need a battery thing how do they work is it more painful than the first? When is the battery removed? Has anyone had anything like this? Baby’s tummy is measuring bigger than everything else and looks huge so I’m slightly worried!

I’m 39+1 with our first.
Super uncomfy today, actually only within the last couple of hours after I’d come home from being out for a while.
Dull ache where you’d normally get period pains, the occasional twinge that feels like my cervix being poked which isn’t comfy and I’ve also got an ache right at the top of my right leg almost in the groin area. None of these things are in any sort of pattern it’s just random aches/pains.
How on earth do we differentiate between “just pregnancy aches” and labour signs?! 😩

I took the morning after pill a week ago and a couple of days ago I started bleeding although now it's gotten like normal period heavy and I feel awful just like I do on my period, but I also only just finished my period a little over a week ago. Does anyone know if this is normal cos when I look online it says it's normal to have spotting but this is much more than spotting. Any help would be appreciated ❤️

Hey mamma's this is going to be TMI. I'm currently 9 days postpartum after having a emergency C-section. I was extremely constipated and struggled to poo it was painful but I managed to eventually. But ever since I've been getting these extreme stabbing pains in my bum whole and they just suddenly come on and last a few seconds then go but it's been on and off for about 3 days now. Has anyone else experienced this? And what helped to ease it because pain meds aren't helping.
