Currently pregnant after a c section. I will plan on a vbac if medically appropriate. Too early to notice anything on my scar, but it’s healed up so nicely, I can’t imagine I’m going to have any issues with it.

I have no idea what you mean by the battery thing!

I think many people find subsequent c section recoveries “easier” especially if the subsequent ones are planned

Idk anything about a battery but im 26 weeks pregnant with my second, I had a c-section in January 2024 and so far everything is going great! I actually feel better than with my first lol, only thing i've noticed is braxton hicks feel a little more prominent then they did when I was pregnant with my son, going for a VBAC

My scar has looked fine during pregnancy. There was slight sharp pains in my scar tissue when my bump was growing quite a lot but it’s stopped now ! I’m 33w along x

Just had my second baby 1 month ago, natural birth following an emergency c-section 4 years ago, it was a completely different experience but a great one!
No noticeable issues or differences with my scar throughout pregnancy and i was part of a study at my hospital where they did an internal scan and checked my scar from the inside and confirmed it had all healed good and that gave me confidence to go for my vbac as I was less worried about scar rupture etc

I have had five vaginal births after a c-section. I never had any issues with pregnancy or the deliveries!

Elective C-section

Hi everyone.

I was just wondering what people's experiences are with requesting an elective C-section?

I know so many people who have ended up getting emergency C-sections anyway after complications. Does anyone have any of their own experiences with this?

Weepy Eye

Anyone else's newborn suddenly get a yellow weepy eye?

Eye itself doesn't look red. Might pop to pharmacy later 🤔

Rolling

Has anyone’s baby started rolling yet? My boy is 15 weeks and he can now roll both ways and he is just absolutely wild trying to slide about the floor 😅

I have an older girl who didn’t do this for at least another couple of months yet so I thought I had more time haha!

Contractions or just normal cramping?

So last night I woke up so uncomfortable at 2am and gave up trying to sleep. Went downstairs and ended up having these awful stomach cramps with like pins and needles feeling and I think my stomach was tightening. I could barely move while they were happeneing. They were coming and going but every time I moved they'd start again.
Are these contractions or just cramps from the weight of the baby? They never felt like period cramps
FTM, 38 weeks today, no idea what I'm looking out for when it comes to contractions 😅
I just know that 6 hours later I feel okay again 🙄

My newborn has weepy eye

My newborn age 2 weeks has a weepy eye. Is it a blocked tear duct? No swelling no redness. Just discharge built up in the eye.
