What would you do in a situation like this seriously? when the man you've been dealing with for almost a year now.. comes over your house and eats up you and your kids food drinks and snacks that he is not replacing.

When you bring it to his attention.. he says he's a guest in my home basically. But as soon as he comes over his first stop is literally the kitchen. Because he has no food at his house.. I'm starving to think he literally just wants to come over to eat and snack. When we first started talking.. I used to make him breakfast but once I realized he didn't deserve that i stopped. He drinks up damn near all the sodas and water in the fridge. Eats up all my kids snacks.. I came in the kitchen this morning with one pop tart left, after there was a total of 4 in there. 4 packs of crackers left but 8 total came in the lil box all together.. lastnight he was literally back and fourth in the kitchen.. had about 2 or 3 sodas and atleast 2 bags of chips. Ate a pack of ramen noodles.. which he goes after almost everytime he comes over.. I just put groceries in my house last week. He will come over mainly on weekends because he works.. but never seem to have any money to take care of himself. Am i wrong for getting fed up with this ??

Please tell me why you're still seeing this guy? Sorry, love, but you are the one allowing it. Put a stop to it.

You said you used to make him breakfast, but you realised he doesn't deserve it, so you stopped???? So is he not treating you right? You have your own home, and it's your home, not his, so stop allowing him to just come over and eat your food. Just break up with him

wtf is this man ?! Why are you even tolerating this …

I would be sending him a list of things to pick up before he comes over or a Venmo/zelle/cash app request. Once okay twice ehh, all the time no. You don’t want to be in a relationship but want to be friends with benefits or whatever either way of the status you don’t treat a person you care about disrespectful. Even with friends I would not feel comfortable going to their home and just eating and NEVER bringing anything over to share. More over your employed but don’t have $ yes I get this economy but like how irresponsible are you if you can’t afford noodles.

Sounds like this grown man is trying to be adopted by you as a mother 🤣 drop his ass

I feel like I read something like this a few weeks ago. If he can’t take care of himself, he’s not ready for a woman. Just call it quits, you’re not in a committed relationship with him. Tell him ur not trying to take care of another kid and be done with him.

You don’t need an extra child instead of a man. Stop seeing him. Sorry this is happening!

I just read he won’t even commit to you. Just don’t invite him over at all anymore.

Nesting!

I’m 27 weeks and feel like I started nesting weeks ago. I look at random things in my house every day and think “ugh I need to clean that/organise that asap because baby is coming soon”.
I guess I’m wondering when nesting starts for most people and if anyone has any practical tips for tidying up the house before baby arrives?
I’m really struggling to keep on top of housework between work and regular mum & wife tasks. I feel like every time I clean or organise something, my husband or toddler undoes it or makes a new mess for me to tidy!😅

How do you share chores with your hubby?

At home we mainly have our own set rules ( me cook, bins, clothes, dust polish m, windows), we both work full time but he earns double my salary so i just need to pay my half on the mortgage and contribute something to the credit card monthly. He covers the rest but I find because I have more WFH days I naturally do his roles, hoovering daily which is his job. I haven't mopped so he has something to do and he hasn't mopped in about 2 months for real! Since being pregnant he does cook more because in the early days the smell make me sick but he's only confident making pasta which is fine but boring after 7 months, so I do a bit more cooking now .. when it comes to our child I do much more and I notice it more now, make sure nursery bag is packed, dirty potty training clothes are actually emptied from the bag and washed lol.. make sure bath time is done and do bed time and whenever our toddler wakes up, make sure he has age appropriate toys and developmental toys.. I had to speak with my hubby the other day to say its not ok that he sleeps in till 7-8am every day and I'm up at 5-6 or whenever our son is the natural alarm clock whereas you can wake up naturally when his body feels rested, i haven'thad that luxury of a wake up past 7 in years. During the week day my son wakes around 6 and my husbands alarm goes off at 6 but he doesn't get up for our child I do and he continues sleeping till 6.30-45 or until I wake him up! I don't do it often because your not my child your a big man 🤨 but this stuff never really grated on me till now! He is getting bigger weight wise and I strongly believe hes becomes a couch potato with little energy or stamina the more weight he puts on but we are dur another baby in 7 weeks so I need him to be more onit with our son. Make sure hes having a varied diet not just cheesy pasta where are the veg! Not on your phone constantly while " playing" with our son. I do no phone, non interrupted play its important and shows genuine interest. He would leave our sons bed sheets for for ever where as I change it weekly or every 2 weeks is I forget but I think the bottom line is I have to be my husband reminder to do tasks in the house or do things i think he should know eg add veg to the food, change the bed sheets, you haven't hoovered in 2 weeks ect like come on why am I your personal reminder.

I'm confused not sure what to do..

Me and my partner had a fight on his part.. all I was trying to do is communicate with him cause communicate is key right? Well he got so mad at me asking the same question over and over that he keep avoiding. He went outside i went outside to see if he would answer much yet he keep telling me shut up and all. Keep avoiding it then he got in my face and said sometimes I want to hit you and ball up his fist never hit me. But did push me to the ground. Then he said he didnt reliezes I was that close i called BS. He said he starting to hate me. A big word I can't spell or don't understand what it means. I don't know what's wrong with him. We never could communicate during our relationship everything I say he thinks im picking a fight. When all I want to do is have a conversation.

Mil doesnt get my 5 year old

My mil isnt close to my daughter, rarley see her (her doing)
Which means she just doesnt get my daughters personality at all.
Social wise my daughter takes after me, shes not a people person, shes pretty shy and hates people in her face or trying to make her laugh when she's clearly not in the mood.
When we see her she will still get in my daughters face trying to make her laugh, grabbing at her legs or arms (in a fun way- in her eyes)
My daughter doesnt like it and gets upset/angry.
This happens every time!!!! Like wtf
I want them to have a relationship but its like my mil cant be botherd actually making one instead she has to act the clown!

Crazy or not

My mother in law has never really liked me. She called me a money grabbing slapper because her son earns good money and thinks I’m only with him and kept my child with him because of he’s money. Am I crazy for telling my partner to not have no contact with her for disrespecting me!

1st birthdays - What are we doing?

I’ve just realised my son is eight weeks from his birthday because the passage of time is crazy.

I want to do something for his first birthday but I’m not sure what, stuck between wanting an actual (small) party and just having a meal with some cake/presents. As he’s a November baby it’ll probably be freezing so any outdoor ideas are out the window.

What are you planning/what have you done for previous kids?
