Bleeding at almost 6 weeks and feeling stressed

I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant and started light bleeding a few days ago. My hospital ultrasound isn't until next week and I'm really stressed about what this could mean. Has anyone else experienced this and how did you cope while waiting?

Could it be your period returning?

I'm currently in the same boat :( 6 weeks today but started bleeding about 2-3 days ago and my scan is Tuesday

Try not to panic, I had bleeding at 5 weeks and it was just a haematoma, which is totally fine, it is just a sack of blood that heals up on its own,
if you are comfortable you can message me and show me and I can see if it looked how mine did. Wish you all the best ❣️

Sorry to hear your experiencing this I’ve had this three times once with a miscarriage and twice with two healthy pregnancies to be honest I couldn’t wait for the NHS scan and ended up going private for reassurance. All I can say is rest up. If the bleeding remains light it’s usually a good sign the only difference I personally experienced with a loss is the bleeding got very heavy like soaking through a pad at that point the hospital had to see me. Wishing you the best of luck if you have any questions just pop me a message x

I had bleeding pretty early on, until 12 weeks - now I’m 6 months pregnant with a healthy baby girl. I didn’t have a haematoma either - my cervix was just sensitive. Fingers crossed for you and definitely try to stay busy if you can x

I am so sorry this happened! The same thing happened to me at 6 months pregnant. I experienced bleeding one morning. I went to the hospital and thankfully my doctor showed up and checked on me...vitals, ultrasound, if I was by any chance dilating. He said apparently this was normal and happens to a small handful of pregnant women. So I hope this calms your nerves 🤍🙏 however, i would call your doctor and get this checked out just to make sure you and your baby are healthy ☺️🙏

I had this with my second. My scan showed a 3cm cyst that resolved itself in the end. They kept and eye during scans and it disappeared. My bleeding lasted about 3-4 days and then stopped. I’m now 17 weeks pp with my daughter. I hope all goes well at your scan 😊

Thank you everyone for sharing your experience and supporting me. I feel so much better now.🤗❤️

Lots of possible reasons for early bleeding and they're not all bad news! Most common is a haematoma and they usually resolve by your 12 week scan

No baby on the scan

I went for my scan with window to the womb and had calculated to be exactly 7 weeks from last period but in the scan they said it’s a pregnancy of unknown location and the small sac they can see, they can’t confirm if it’s a very early gestational sac or a pseudosac and have referred my to the hospital for bloods.

Has anyone had anything like this?
Not feeling very positive atm

Regretting elective section

Does anyone else regret their elective section? It's eating me alive every day. I wish I'd been brave and tried the induction instead but at the point I'd only heard horror stories and with our situation and planned section seemed safer. I'm just terrified I've ruined by chances of a future vaginal birth 🥺 I'm stressed everyone judges me for choosing this and I've tried therapy for these feelings and it hasn't helped.

Breech baby at 32 week growth scan

We went in to see if my placenta had finally moved enough for birth and it has but found out she has now frank breech! The consultant wasn't very helpful. We went to an antenatal class yesterday and the midwife there was much more helpful, she recommended the spinning babies website and some positions we could do to encourage her to spin around. I'm not sure I 100% believe it will help as I'm convinced babies just do what they want in the womb but we will certainly try! Has anyone had any previous pregnancies where bubba has turned back around for 36 weeks?
