Anyone else perpetually up late?

Just finished folding and putting it away a month of laundry (I’m 4 weeks post partum as of today) while hubby fed some of what I’d pumped to baby - and still need to shower and eat dinner. It’s 12:15 AM 😭

Im awake lol you're not alone

Girl felt! It’s 10:30 rn where I am. The laundry piles up soooo fast 🫠 I’m three months postpartum. Baby is currently on the boob so i can get him to sleep but he just wants to be awake atm😭

Me too my baby just turned 3months so now she sleeps through the night. I cant help but be awake all night because it's my only free time to myself..😭

Me all the time I sometimes stay up late just to have some me time 😩

I am soo sleepy and exhausted but my baby doesn’t sleep before 1 to 1:30. Just turned 5 months. Most days I wont even sleep late at night after my baby sleeps, just to give myself some time.

It’s 1:44am and I’m up because the baby has to eat at 3 so I know I will not be able to sleep if I got to wake up soon😭

11:45 here in Colorado, I tend to stay up late

1:22AM in the bath to relax and will go to bed at 3 its my typical routine

C-Section Pain

I had a c-section 2nd August (4 weeks) and the pain did start getting so much better by week 3 where I wasn’t feeling any pain at all and thought I was recovering well. However the last couple days I have been experiencing pain again in my lower tummy. My scar looks and feels fine it’s just the lower part of my tummy that I’m experiencing pain again. The pain feels exactly like how it was right at the start of my recovery!! Anyone else had this?

How did you leave the hospital after a C section?

Did you walk? How far?

Wheelchair? Combination? Who pushed your wheelchair? Who carried baby? Did you have a long walk to the car park?

Did you have a choice? Did the hospital offer you the option?

Stomach tightenings / braxton hicks

What would you say they feel like for you? My whole stomach just hurts like from side to side. Doesnt hurt as such but aches? I know people say your belly goes hard but mine just constantly feels hard really😅 i just feel so uncomfortable

Who should I contact?

I had my baby 5 months ago via emergency C-section as he was breech. I healed really well and my little boy is so chilled that he’s already got me thinking about giving him a sibling 😂

I know the recommendation I was given was to wait 12–18 months, but I’d really like to speak to a medical professional about it properly, as I wasn’t given much information at the time.

Who would be the best person to reach out to? I feel like my GP probably wouldn’t be much help, but at the same time, the only contact I have for the midwives is maternity triage, which surely isn’t really for questions like this?

I’d just like to have a proper conversation about the risks, timing and what would be best following an emergency C-section before making any decisions.

C-section date

I’m 39 weeks tomorrow midwife come out last week baby’s head was not in pelvis. I was going to try for natural birth as last pregnancy was elective C-section due to her being breech. I’m seeing her again Tuesday and have said if head is still not in pelvis
Will just have another c-section. Anyone made a late decision with wanting a c-section when did they book you in for or how long of a wait was it. I’m really hoping they will get me in for when I’m 40 weeks and not 41 weeks

Hey guys! I had braxton hicks on Thursday. I was kept in over night because I’m pregnant with Twins and preterm birth is really common.

I got out on Friday and was fine Friday and Saturday but today they’ve came back really painfully I’m wondering if I need to get back in touch with the hospital or if I’m ok to leave it?

I’ve got no other signs of labour other than the random pains that are coming and going
