I had a c-section 2nd August (4 weeks) and the pain did start getting so much better by week 3 where I wasn’t feeling any pain at all and thought I was recovering well. However the last couple days I have been experiencing pain again in my lower tummy. My scar looks and feels fine it’s just the lower part of my tummy that I’m experiencing pain again. The pain feels exactly like how it was right at the start of my recovery!! Anyone else had this?

Are you off all the pain meds and getting pretty active again? It’s normal to feel the aches and pains as your body gets back into motion and your recovery goes on, especially if you’ve stopped taking drugs. Go easy but stay mobile, it gets easier.

Sometimes if I overdo it a bit I’ve noticed the pain will be a little worse the next day

It's perfectly normal to still feel pain 4wks post op it can come and go like a cold sometimes your body is still knitting together everything even tho the intial scar is pretty much healed up internally it's only just beginning to mend everything x I know it's frustrating when you feel like you have been knocked back but still take it as easy as you can when possible, if you experience any redness or discharge etc alongside the pain just get checked over to check no infection is starting to niggle away but like I said at the start 4wks post op Is more than normal to still experience pain , I'm 7mths today post emergency c section and I still get twinges after doing a lot in the day xx

Yes! I had mine on the first. Apparently around 5 weeks/after 4 weeks some recurring pain is normal. Its partially nerves reconnecting, muscle tissue healing, and those deeper layers healing. I've also noticed some of my stitches poking out a little bit when means they've mostly dissolved internally and just have small pieces left that my body is rejecting. Perfectly normal but super irritating to the skin and scar. Plus moving around a lot more since pain subsided can cause that tenderness to come back. I took 800 mg ibuprofen yesterday morning and again this morning and its helped keep it at bay again.

I was similar to this at 4 and a half weeks postpartum but it turns out I had an infection in one of my incision’s inside so as much as it’s normal for pain, please keep an eye on it

I went for my scan with window to the womb and had calculated to be exactly 7 weeks from last period but in the scan they said it’s a pregnancy of unknown location and the small sac they can see, they can’t confirm if it’s a very early gestational sac or a pseudosac and have referred my to the hospital for bloods.
Has anyone had anything like this?
Not feeling very positive atm

Does anyone else regret their elective section? It's eating me alive every day. I wish I'd been brave and tried the induction instead but at the point I'd only heard horror stories and with our situation and planned section seemed safer. I'm just terrified I've ruined by chances of a future vaginal birth 🥺 I'm stressed everyone judges me for choosing this and I've tried therapy for these feelings and it hasn't helped.

I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant and started light bleeding a few days ago and happen most in day not in night. My hospital ultrasound isn't until next week and I'm really stressed about what this could mean. Has anyone else experienced this and how did you cope while waiting?
