Should I cut her off?

So I’ve been friends with this girl for more than 10 years. Long story short she never asked how I was during pregnancy not even a message, despite me organising a meet up to tell her. She also didn’t come to my baby shower as she had food poisoning. She did congratulate me when I announced the birth but after that no message to say how I am or when she can see the baby. Because I felt upset I messaged her to say when she would like to come and I was abit upset she never messaged. But she literally blanked my message left me on read!! She still views my stories and we follow each other. But since that day no communication at all. Shall I just block her and move on. I find this so heartbreaking and rude am I wrong to feel upset.

This happens so, so often. I don’t know why. My friend kept calling herself an aunt to my baby when I was pregnant and she couldn’t have given less of a shit if she tried when he was here. Cut that dead weight. Make some mum friends locally and don’t waste another second of your energy on your old friend.

i wouldn’t ever just cut someone off without getting the full picture. just send her an honest message saying look it’s been upsetting me that i feel like you’re making no effort to see me anymore or stay in contact. is it something i did, are you okay? etc etc. if she leaves that on read then 100% i’d say the friendship is over, BUT at least you tried to salvage it and understand from her point of you. you never know what people are going through, not justifying it but she may reply with a heartfelt message and explanation you never know. it’s worth a shot x

I wanna say cut her off but I’m going through the same thing been friends 13 years and I really don’t want too but this constant chasing and getting nothing in return isn’t good for anyone

maybe you don’t have to cut her off entirely, just give her back the same energy she gives you and don’t go out of your way for her anymore, the relationship might fall off naturally or improve, but i say don’t burn the bridge just give her what she gives you back

You cannot force someone to be your friend, let her go, no need to waist your time on such people. I am sure your time now is precious ✨️

Hmm. This sounds very similar to a real life situation that happened to me but I am the friend who hasn't made an effort. Happy for you to message me privately to explain to you as that friend why I haven't made an effort and it might be a different perspective. I just don't want to put all my business on here tbh. If you don't want to message me that's cool but all I will say is there are two sides to every story.

Why do I feel like a bad mom?

My daughter is 1 and I know kids her age don't really understand the word "don't" or "stop" but we have a storm so we are in and out of power she kept saying dog because we were watching the live action Clifford movie so I was trying to connect back to WiFi while she was jumping on my bed. I told her to stop and sit down and next thing I know she fell off my bed! I heard her head hit the carpet and then all I heard next was her screaming like I've never heard before. I instantly picked her up to try and soothe her. She's sleeping right now because she had a long day and was already tired before the incident occurred. I feel so horrible and I can't stop crying. My mom called and I explained what happened to her and my stepdad even came in to check on her but no one else is answering me and I feel so alone right now. I don't know what to do. What signs should I look for when she wakes up? Does this make me a bad mom? Idk I just can't stop crying and I'm very shaken up. Please help 😭

Car seat hell - help

My lG hates the car seat, and I mean hates. She screams and screams every car journey to the point we have to pull over. Even if I’m sat in the back, fed well before, made sure she’s comfortable, nothing is helping and I am starting to become traumatised from going in the car as I’m worried she will stop breathing from screaming. My first was bad but this is on another level.

Any advice please

Momcozy breast pump

I’m wanting to buy a momcozy breast pump which is £160 on Amazon. Are there any other trustworthy sites that anyone was able to purchase them from for a little bit cheaper? Just thought I’d ask before buying them off Amazon. Thank you! 😊

Putting baby to sleep has to be one of the most frustrating things ever

Honestly I love my baby so much but the frustration I feel when I’m rocking, swaying and shh-ing at 5am only for them to wake up as soon as I put them down. I genuinely feel like punching myself. It’s like just go to bloody sleep😭

Formula Amount

How much is everyone’s baby eating? Age, amount and how frequent?

My little boy is 7 weeks old and he has anything between 70ml-120ml every 2 hours! I always worry that the 70ml is too little but he’s gaining beautifully. Was 7lbs 10 at birth and is now 11lbs 8😬

Would you start introducing duvet into cot with sides up?

LO is turning 2 and has got out her sleeping sack every night for 4 weeks. We have bought a 120cmx100cm breathable duvet. The cot is 120x60cm

Would anyone implement this with 40cm extra duvet width with cot sides up? She isnt ready for sides to be down yet
