How do y'all get your kids to take meds? I used to be able to bribe my 2 year old, but now he gets so upset that he starts throwing up, which is the opposite of what I want. There has to be a better way......

It seems harder when he is sick he doesn't want anything near his mouth at all.
Put it in a syringe and shoot it to the cheek fast lol
I can use "logic" most of the time with my toddler but if I've been debating with them for more than 10 minutes then I just hold them down and put it in their cheek. Getting the medicine is more important than being mad at Mom for a few minutes.
I tried everything with my kiddo and he was the same way. I decided it was way too traumatising. It was antibiotic meds and I asked our Dr for a shot instead of the oral liquid. It was over in a second instead of twice daily torture on all sides. Only recommend this if it’s a last resort but it worked for us
Have two syringes, one with medicine and one with juice. Give a small squirt of the one with juice and then swap for the medicine and shoot it all in fast. Then swap back to let him finish the juice.
My son has been on daily meds since he was a baby, this is how we got him to take his medicine till he got used to it.
