So clueless...

Last night my husband and I were eating dinner late because I got off work late. We were having leftover steak from the night before. I made 2 versions, one for us marinated in color oil and one for the kids just salt and garlic.

Anyway, we were eating our leftover steak and my son came over and asked for a bite. I said no because it wasn't the kid's steak and before I could tell my husband not to, he gave him a huge piece. I look at my husband and call him an idiot and our son starts screaming that it's too hot. My husband starts saying that he's over reacting and that it's not hot (temperature). I'm trying to get our son to spit out the steak and I said "you asked me to cook your steak in chili oil"
Only then did he realize what was going on and started to freak out. We finally managed to get our son to spit out the steak piece and I gave him a yoghurt to drink.

It’s fine. I mean yeah it might be spicy for kids. But some kids like spicy lol. But they’ll be fine. Just lots of water for milk to help haha

My husband did the same type of thing the other day. She wanted to try one of the peppers from the garden, he didn’t warn her and let her take a huge a bite. She immediately starts screaming and crying and he’s like “she’s overreacting, it’s a sweet pepper.” So I try the pepper and it’s insanely hot, burns my mouth for the next 20 mins. So then I had to try calm our toddler down for 20 mins because it’s still burning her mouth and she doesn’t understand why. He should have tried it before giving her a bite. Or at least told her “very spicy” so she knows what’s coming. She might not want to try food from the garden now.
