Honestly, every person has their own story and journey and you shouldn't feel bad for only wanting one child, but also you may change your mind in a few years time and reconsider your thoughts, as you'll be a new person also.
I went through the exact same thoughts as you.
For me, I had mine during covid and that was traumatic enough, I didnt enjoy my experience giving birth and now having gone through the baby stages, and now my son is 5yo. I absolutely love who they have become and considered having another, even though the experience was tough I feel the long term outcome would be amazing - we've settled on one due to financial circumstances and no family support so wouldn't make sense for us.
You'll get to a point where everyone in your group is having 2nd and 3rd kids and you'll start feeling this absolute guilt for no wanting to give them a sibling, but at the end of the day you have to think about your happiness.
I love my family unit of 3 and couldn't be happier.
I hope thats helped x
