Anyone else's little one just horrendous since they started reception? Struggling to recognise her what even is this behaviour?!🫠
She's so cheeky and just doesn't care about anything I say! Doesn't listen then if i tell her 'no treats today' or whatever she'll just go 'ok mummy no problem' like?
How do you even set a punishment when they don't care🫠🫠🫠

We noticed problem like this in preschool. Luckily school hasn’t had that effect (yet!). We created a listening jar. Every time he does something first time we ask or just generally is being good or does good listening, he gets to put a pompom in his jar. When the jar is full he gets a special treat. I printed out little treat cards for him to chose from so it’s not the same thing every time, so he can chose from say cinema/film night, bowling, arcade etc just things he likes but we don’t do all the time.

He’s filled it 3 or 4 times now. Sometimes it looses its novelty a little bit, but that’s usually when we’ve been less consistent with it ourselves. Otherwise he’s pretty happy to listen!

We also use bigger pompoms so it doesn’t take so long to fill it haha x
