Guess it’s bitter sweet

I’m right there with ya! Literally just finished my 37 week appointment and she told us my BP was high (it was around this time with my first as well) and she doesn’t want me to go further than 39 weeks 🥺 that puts us at an Oct 1 induction so we’ll see what happens. Either way, that will be the best day no matter what cuz we get to meet our sweet babies face to face 🩵

Yeah my ob at my 36w appointment said she gives me max 2 weeks before he comes on his own terms since I was "as soft as can be" and already 1cm dilated. She said at this appointment if I am close to 3+cm that I will most likely be send to LD. Im also high risk so no matter what ill be giving birth by 39w which puts the date anytime between now and October 2/3. Im gonna be happy when its over mostly cuz with this being my second once I hit 30 weeks I felt like I did the last 2 weeks with my first. I also was never dilated with my son at any appointment so at his eviction date I had to be given stuff to dilate but this time I think once I get my epidural and get my water popped hes gonna be coming immediately. Especially since with my first I went from them popping my water to my son in my arms being no more than 45 minutes.

Why do they want you induced?

My Oct 7th baby Is being evicted.... im being induced tomorrow.... darn blood pressure.....

I am in a similar situation, they won’t let me go past my due date so unless things progress naturally, I will be induced in the middle of week 39 (probably 39+3 or 4). It will likely be prostaglandin at first to aid cervical ripening. Do you know how the process will look for you? In any case, sending you best wishes 💛💛💛
