I'm not sure if I coped really or just survived it. I got 3 private scams between 6 weeks and 10 weeks. My anxiety was by far the worst in the first trimester, I kept thinking it would settle after certain points but it didn't, not really until I could feel him consistently. For some reason remember that all the anxiety, the checking toilet paper, monitoring my system, was a trauma response, was oddly comforting. I probably should have gone back to therapy for at least the first trimester. I'm 26 weeks now, all is going well. Wishing you all the best!!

I lost a baby a month before finding out I was pregnant again, once I made it past 8 weeks the day I lost the baby it felt a lot better but the anxiety never stopped until I had him in my arms

I’m with you, I’m 7 weeks today and still another whole week to go before my first scan at 8 weeks. Yesterday I said to my husband’Why are there so many days in every week!?’ 😩 my last 5 pregnancies have all ended in miscarriage where the baby died before 7 weeks but i often didn’t find out till later. I had some cramping at 6w 3days and 6w 4days and crashed out thinking that was it. Still no bleeding so I’m trying to stay hopeful but I can barely get out of bed in the morning. I’m trying to tell myself I’ll be ok eventually either way but that’s about all I can do

Tommy charity really helped me! You can reach out to them for some support tools. I found this helped me to keep my anxiety in check the first trimester. Then it naturally got better with time xx

I have been enjoying Pregnancy After Loss by Zoe Clark-Coates, its like a daily interactive devotional to help reassure and I like that it really doesn't discriminate between types of loss, she uses very neutral language even a dad could use it

I hear you it’s awful. I’m also scared to book an early scan because when I had my miscarriage we heard a heart beat & then at 12 weeks it had died.

For me, that feeling of "is it going to happen again?" doesn't go away. I'm 20 weeks and have been excited/dreading having an ultrasound because I don't really feel her moving (I do have an anterior placenta) and with my past 2 miscarriages, my mind automatically goes to worse case scenario. Luckily, got a quick ultrasound this morning before next weeks anatomy scan and she had a good heartbeat which helps with my anxiety ā¤ļø
