Anyone else co nap with their babies/kids? I keep getting told "oh just put her down in her cot where she should be" "you can get stuff done then"
Honestly really annoys me. If I was to do that she would not nap long an be cranky all day cos she tired. An who has to struggle with it ..... Me!
Sorry for the rant guys. Anyone understand?

Every kids diff. My first baby co napped and co slept. He wouldn’t sleep at all without me. He’s 3 and sometimes the odd night crawls in my bed during the nights
My second baby is 4 months old and HATES when I cuddle her lol. She likes to sleep alone!
Enjoy the cuddles ❤️

Same, my baby still has naps on me whenever she can. She only has 1 nap, max 2h and honestly I really cherish this time. I love it, can see how settled and safe she is and can't imagine to do her naps any other way. Before I tried to put her down for a nap or night sleep countless of times in her bed but it always fails. So we cosleep and she has naps on me. It was possible to put her down a handful of times but when I tried to do something around the house, I always woke her up because i.e I dropped a pan 🙃 so I stopped trying to fit into the pressure of perfect housewife and just enjoyed my baby 💕

Yup! My baby will *only* contact nap. If I transfer her or try and get her to nap anywhere else, she will just stay awake. And I mean she would genuinely stay awake for HOURS. She might entertain herself for 5 minutes but then she will just cry until I go to get her

If it works for you and your baby then keep doing it. As you've said YOU are the one who has to manage with an overtired child xx

My baby used to have to be put down, but since eleven months or so she’s back into contact napping and I love it. Was so sad at how quick it ended, and made up it’s back on. I don’t have any stuff to get done that’s more important than cherishing my daughter.

I have slept with both my kids, my daughter is 5 my son is
4m. ppl can say that all the time “put them where they should/need to be. I co nap or slept with my daughter until she was 3 because I was a single mom now I have a 4 month boy and he sleeps in his bed or with me

Yep! Also if that’s my only break in the day, sorry but I’m not prioritising dishes, I’m prioritising myself x
So my husband and I are moving from an 3 bedroom 1 &1/2 bath apartment to a 5 bedroom 1bath house.
Well there is 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms down stairs with 1 bathroom. The house is kinda small. We have to cool with window units and heat by gas but the upstairs doesn’t have a heat source I have 2 boys and 2 girls this house would give them their own rooms but my husband is so negative. He wants them sharing rooms. But yet I’m home 24/7 with the kids he works night shift and I feel like I don’t get a say.
Also I want to get rid of my daughter’s bunk bed and get them separate beds and he doesn’t want to do that.
We are currently in our 3 bed and my kids are all in separate rooms. My youngest is in our bed my oldest daughter is in her bed and my boys are separated ones in their room the other is in the living room.
My kids are ages 9,8,7,5 I feel like my boys need their own room my daughters need to be separated also they fight constantly
Am I in the wrong for being upset

So it’s 6.35am and baby has slept through the night so obviously I have been waking every 30 mins panicking that somethings wrong and now wondering if I should wake him up. 🤣
He is EBF so my boobs are massive and leaking everywhere but yet the little prince keeps on sleeping. 😴
I really want to go back to sleep but I just know he will wake up the second I get comfy and start to drift off. 😩
Bloody kids!! 🤷🏼♀️🙈

My 8 week old is still waking every 3 hours for milk. She strains, grunts and wriggles all night long. Its so loud that I am awake all night. I’ve tried infacol, dentinox, colief. We have changed her formula a week ago. She’s been to an osteopath (who said she was the calmest baby she’d ever seen 🙄) i’m at my wits end. I’m exhausted.

Any nappy recs advice for nappy leaks at night? My 7 month old has just started consistently leaking, I’ve sized up in nappies and tried Aldi and rascals but no luck.
Has anyone had better results with pull ups? He’s just big enough now I think but I wasn’t sure if Aldi pull ups are any good?

My baby has just turned three months and he’s gone back to sleeping like he’s a newborn, so unsettled all night especially after his first stretch.
He was doing 6/7 hour stretches consistently and now it’s like he’s completely forgotten how to link his sleep cycles.
Does this get better or is this how sleep will be now?
