Planned c section turn up time vs actual c section?
I have my planned c section at 7am next Tuesday. This is the time I have been told to arrive by. What time should I expect to actually have my c section (if all goes to plan and there is no delays)?
How long did you have to wait around after arriving for the c section to actually happen?

It depends where you are on the list on the day. When I had mine I had to be at the hospital for 7am but then found out I was 4th on the list so didn't go down to theatre until just after 1pm. They do them in order of who is more important on the day. I chose to have a section so wasn't high priority x
The surgical list order is usually decided on the day once you're all in, all the other families will be coming in at the same time too. With a 7am arrival you're likely on a morning list.

Has anyone else paid for a scan and not been able to see babyâs face? My partner feels like it was a waste of money I see where heâs coming from but Iâm just glad I got to hear babyâs heart beat and seeing the baby moving. What would you do?

Iâm just sitting here minding my own business at 8 months pregnant and my toddler comes up to me and says âwho got you pregnantâ!!!
I looked at her like âwhatâ and she repeated herself so I said âher daddyâ! So she said âwhy did my daddy get you pregnantâ đł
So I said âI donât knowâ! She says âitâs fine I will call him and ask himââŠ. She grabs my phone calls her dad whoâs at work and he was sounded mortified, when she said âwhy did you get my mummy pregnantâ! I couldnât fully remember what he said because I couldnât stop laughing!!! Nothing can prepare you to be a parent to a toddler!! đđ
