Mum groups

I want to join a mum group but I’ve heard they can be toxic. My daughter is nearly 6 months old. Should I wait until she’s older?

They can definitely be unfriendly if you don’t find the right group! But honestly I have always found them to be a breath of fresh air and my now nearly 2 year old has made some great little buddies that he instantly recognizes whenever we see them! 6 months is a great age to start going

As any other person, moms have their own personalities and not everyone gets along. You can integrate a group or more and just see if you get along or not.

I finally found one the other day that I really enjoyed I think it’s trial and error and recognising toxic behaviour honestly. Just steer clear of those people. I always went to groups for my kids I never spoke to anyone the other day I finally went to one that was lovely and people were so friendly. It’s definitely trial and error but I wouldn’t be put off going because of other mums.
