I’m 25 weeks (+5 days) and I rang up the MAC unit with reduced movement yesterday. I can still feel her move, but it’s nowhere near as strong as it has been nor as frequent.
They basically told me that because I’m not 26 weeks they’d only do a Doppler check on me anyway, and seen as I can feel her move it won’t really tell me much more, which I understand. However today, she feels like she’s moving even less than yesterday, again I’ve still felt the odd kick here and there.
Just wondered if anyone has had anything similar?

if its possible just for sake of your own mental peace you can go for private scan.

Definitely private scan! Don't waste any time.

Personally I would go to the hospital and get seen, even if it’s going to A&E and they refer you to MAC. Just for your own peace of mind xx

Is your placenta at the front or back? If it’s at the front she may just be in a funny position? Also I’d go up there and demand to be seen! Explain how long you’ve felt movement for. Usually triage can be visited from 21 weeks so is very off that they are dismissing you!

I was also told by my midwife that before 26 weeks they wouldn’t scan at triage for reduced movements and I should go to the family centre instead and they’d check with a Doppler (I’m in Sheffield). I never needed to go in but I remember thinking at the time that it seemed a really arbitrary cut off. If you’re still worried and feeling less movement again today, I’d ring again to explain, or just go straight in. Hope you get some reassurance soon!
