My child father decided to cheat on me while I was going through PPD. In fact he was cheating the entire 4 years. He was physically, mentally, and emotionally abusive. So I finally left him. Of course he played victim after trying to gaslight me. So I blocked him on everything. It’s been a month just about. He now tried reaching out to my sister saying he has things for the kids. She blocked him so he called me and left a blocked voicemail. I deleted them just like the others. I plan to keep him blocked until I gain my peace back. I will allow him access to only his kids when I can forgive him and I love me again. He has always said they were not his kids. So I honestly feel he is just trying to regain access to me. His last words were “I hate you.” What would you do?

8 YEARS OF ABUSE AND I CUT HIM OFF RIGHT AFTER.
IF HE CAN DO IT TO YOU HE'LL EVENTUALLY DO IT TO YOUR BABIES

if he was abusive to you, would he be abusive to the babies?

All children deserve to have both parents in they life especially if the parents are attempting to make an effort.. you do not have to let him have any access to you and you can control how he has access to your kids also. You can literally do front yard visit or porch visit with the kids. Keep it controlled for your peace and sanity. You don’t have to physically be in there space on the visit either.
Kids do grow up and kids see how their own parents are with them personally so all the craziness you went through dealing with him it will show at some point in time for the kids to see with there own eyes. But I don’t think you should try to make up there mind for how they should chose to have a relationship with him now. Our kids are wise we just gotta let them show it and continue to talk to them not shut them out and don’t point blame either. Keep your peace at all cost. This is DEFINITELY a hard time to get through but they don’t call us Superwomen for nothing!!.

Do whatever you need to do to heal in peace. I can only imagine how you’ve changed going through all that. I deal with cheating each time I was post partum and pregnant and I don’t like the person I’ve become just from that. Therapy is always the first step. It doesn’t fix everything at once but it’s a start 🤞🏾❤️ prayers and blessings to you and your little ones. And I pray things get brighter for you
